I was a little confused by the two reviews I've just read. I'm working here listening to MP3's on my T2 which is sitting inside it's proporta case. The socket lines up with the hole both with the phillips SHN2500 that I'm using now and with the generic headphones I also have with a right angled connector fitted.
There is a downside to the access to that earphone port in that you have to thread the plug through with the front flap open, then connect to the PDA before closing. A 'book' style instead of a flip top would be better from this resepct, but then a book style case wouldn't fit into my dashboard holder that came with the satnav system for the PDA.

I liked the case immensely but sent it back. There is a countersunk screw head on the back designed to hold the belt clip but if you do not want to use that, the screw head catches on threads and can scratch polished surfaces

This case is listed on the same page as that for the Tungsten T5. Don't be misled (as I was) into believing that your new T5 will fit into this case - it won't! I'm sure the case is fine, but NOT for a T5.

I bought this screen protector for my Palm Tungsten E and it works great! If you are like me and use your palm a lot, the protector helps to keep those nasty old scratches off the screen. It also gives and keeps the "new-look" for longer. It is worth it to spend a little more for all the advantages.

Leather case delivers what you want from it. Holds your "31" snugly whilst giving free and easy access to ports & buttons. Separate place for your stylus down the inside of the spine, so you can keep one here and a spare in the Zire itself. Two media card storage pockets and a removable extra bit for a credit card, photograph etc, etc. By personal experience, it makes your "31" relatively bounce-proof. Only downside I can see, is the fact that it makes your Zire a good bit bulkier than its inventor originally planned, but on the other hand it makes it easier to know its where you left it! Haven't used the optional belt clip as yet. Fits in back pocket of my jeans well enough.
