Reading the write up I had expected it to use RDS to break into whatever was on the radio or music and give me my phone call. Instead I find that the radio has to be retuned to the chosen Venturi frequency before I can hear anything.. with my Espace this involves a fair amount of fiddling around as it has a read-out on the dash and a remote control. Like most others it won't download the phone-book either. It does most other things competently and the download sound quality is fair.

Just what i wanted and at a great price too! The fast port connector fits securely into my Sony Ericsson cradle and also features useful pins on the bottom to allow further connectivity to wired hands free kits. It's lightweight and small so I can carry it around or hide it away without much problem.

Having tried a couple of other methods of recording LP's to mp3, this was a big relief. It worked! Mainly because it's a contained unit and not replying of connectivity of deck, recorder and PC.
It's not a record player. The sound quality of the speakers ain't up to much but as long as you treat those simply as monitors to keep track of your recording, then it's fine.
You need to keep the recording levels down to factory settings so it doesn't "clip" the loud bits. You will also need something to edit the front and back bits off once you put it onto your PC. I use a freebie copy of AUDACITY which can be legally aquired from all over the place on the net.
All in all a good product, recommended!

Good reception, links up with bluetooth phone really quickly and easy to use. Overall a prety good product and not a bad price. Voice quality ok but a bit on the quiet side.

Pros: Comes with a fairly good instruction booklet. But, to be frank, you don't need it unless you are a complete technophobe; the operation of the equipment is quite intuitive. I just plugged it into the cigar lighter socket; found a frequency that was spare on the car radio; tuned the device to that frequency and hey presto! I had almost cd quality music blaring out of the speakers.
Cons: There is an annoying buzzing noise in the silence between the tracks, this disappears completely when music is playing. I'm not sure what it will be like with the spoken word. Also, I found that the plug was a very tight fit in my car's cigar lighter socket which made removal a tad fiddly.
amazing price for this stereo the sound is superb total control of ipod from headunit usb is on the back so no wires showing controls take a bit to get used to but when you do no downsides to this stereo
