I got this to play with my Zen stone in the car.... took me a while to figure out how to set it up - probably cos im not the quickest when it comes to technical devices, however now ive mastered it, its straightforward enuf....
Battery life seems good, easy to connect, although i now seem to have a lot of wire and devices floating around the gear stick.
Sound quality isnt great. Its ok to have it on in the background, but u wont be able to crank it up as loud as you want without the song quality being compromised.
I thought this might also be due to the MP3 player i was using the transmittor with, i've recently upgraded the ZEN stone to a ZEN mosiac, and the sound quality is indeed much better, though again, there is a limit ... Read More:

After reading a few reviews of similar products i decieded to go for this one, due to price. I didn't want to buy one and then find out it didn't work to well. That can't be said about this product, its brillant. Works so well and alot cheaper than all other matching products. Very easy to use and only had to change the frequency three times. That was due to the fact i was on a 500mile journey.

What a great bit of kit. I am well impressed. I purchased this for my new 307cc as my 206cc had a car kit installed which went when selling the car. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this and I am glad that I did. The unit paired easily with my N95 8GB and although it didn't automatically transfer the phonebook the simple process to do it manually worked quickly and set up in under a minute. The automatic answering is great and voice clarity is outstanding. The unit also looks good. Although the unit only comes with a car charger my USB cable for my phone fits it and it charges via the PC or the USB mains adapter that I have so charging not a problem wherever I am. I would certainly purchase this item again and recommend it to family ... Read More:

as said before, when the box is opened your first thought is oh my god, but very easy, plugs only go one way, make sure you tape up the loose ends that are not required, had a problem on citroen berlingo as orange cable remains live for a minute after turning off the key, although the unit was switched off each time i returned to the van as soon as the central locking was operated it came on, thoughts of flat batteries ensued, parrot were excellent, emailed back within hours and said it needed connecting differently, direct to a switched supply, something about a data bus system used by citroen. now on switch off it says disconnected and then goodbye straight away. their web site has a very good information forum. reception and operation seem fine, all callers ... I have struggled to get one of these. Other internet vendors are unable to get stock from Logitech. The suggestion is that Logitech are producing the Boom in order to promote it heavily and keep letting vendors and their customers down so I was surprised when Amazon/Pimxania had any. Pix call it a Wireless Network Player although everyone else calls it the Classic. Not sure why. Logitech need to realise that setting stock delivery dates that they repeatedly fail to meet is annoying people. Plus why put all your eggs in a product which will never be hifi when the success of the range thus far has been a decent DAC which only appeals to nerds (like me.)
Bought this after a few near misses in my lovely new car. This product is excellent value and would recommend. Clearly audible reverse warning.A Godsend.

I bought this unit in January 2008, and have used it about six times "for real".
Now, it has developed a loose or broken wire, so it no longer works. I'm awaiting TomTom's response on a warranty replacement. I don't think it is built sturdily enough for repeated connection and disconnection, which is a bind if you are security-minded.
I dismantle the unit and the TomTom XL it's attached to each time I leave the car and I find the set up of the aerial is just too fiddly, which is why I haven't used it much except for major long distance journeys. I tend to know where the traffic builds up locally and the ways round jams on regular routes anyway.
I settled on the "down the centre of the screen, behind the rear view mirror" position ... Read More:
