I am sure this is a good piece of kit for the car. The only thing that bothers me is recharging. I have had a car cig lighter recharger sent with product. Why on earth is this so? I bought the kit to be free of wires in the car but so far, the only way I can recharge it is to connect it by wire to the cig lighter. A very bright idea by the producer, sic sic.

Use this with a TomTom One XL. Great if you want to keep the car charging cable with the unit at all times. Tough enough to protect both. If you remove unit from vehicle and want to carry around in a bag, or to use it on foot, best leave the cable behind and get a slimmer case.

This i a very good quality piece of equipment and for the price wow. First i put it in my car steiro but it was making a very anoying clicking noise , so i removed the cods that were inside and it worked perfectly,nice smooth running music from your CD play or ipod and it saved me buyin a £40-£70 CDm player in my car.

It seems so hard to find in-car chargers that are compatible with a SetNav, not so much because there are not chargers out there but more because it is very hard to find their specifications or ratings. I took a chance with this Hama Model No. 00088474 mini-USB charger because it claimed it was for "Mobile Navigation". It works very well. It does not give its output current rating but it runs and charges my unit, which requires 1Amp+, without a problem. Recommended.

Grips the windscreen well and never needed to be re-attached. Used the product for about 10 weeks before it jammed and had to be discarded. Wasn't roughly used and can only assume parts aren't robust enough for long term use. Quite dissappointed.
