Believe it or not, I bought this ipod charger to allow me to charge my pod from the mains. I purchased before reading the bad reviews and after receiving the charger I was a bit reluctant to try it in case it fried itself or my pod or me. Luckily, my girlfriends pod needed charging and after I said that it charged mine okay she tried it on hers.
I am glad to report that it charges both pods perfectly and is now permanently in her posession. I am sad to hear of other peoples misfortune with some of these chargers but I can only recommend this item, and with the blue light it looks like a police mouse! >>More Details |

12 pounds is too much for these headphones. after a few weeks of use the sound started to interrupt. there is absolutely no insulation from environmental noise.

How anyone can rate this above 2 stars is something one can't understand. I used to have a good conception of SONY's quality, but this product really managed to change that. If you don't believe it, take a look at this:
Audio quality: 1.- Noise: Constant "hiss" coming out from the headphones since the moment you turn it on. With or without a track playing in the phone, the noise is always there. 2.- Distortion: The sound reproduced it's full of distortion, particularly in the medium high frequencies. I was convinced I needed a speaker set with a subwoofer but my other half (correctly as it turned out, dammit) said to forget a subwoofer because at the cheaper end of the market they all tend to be very poor, with more boom than bass. To be honest, I hoped to get a set of speakers for around the twenty pound mark, but clearly, as these speakers demonstrate, you do get what you pay for and I am very glad I pushed the budget up a bit higher because I think it is paying off already in terms of listening enjoyment.

Wasn't really sure how many stars to give this one- once I set it up, it was really good- signal was fine and the sound was good. it was great to be able to listen to my ipod in my car- plus the design (the fact that it is on a stick, type of thing!) meant it was in a good position to skip songs etc.
But then it kind of came apart!! I saw that another review commented on the rubber bit on the cigarette lighter part and how it made it more secure- this is true, but I think this bit of the design somehow made it unscrew as it was moved around around in the car (sometimes whoever was in my passenger seat pulled it over to them etc.) and as i pulled it out one day, one part came out and the other stayed stuck in the cigatette lighter socket!!
