Bought this item back in January and found the right hand ear bud lost all sound after a month.
Returned and quickly replaced with a new set, without quibble.
After 3 months the new set started to have a few minor cracks/splits in the wire covering; At the connection to the right ear piece. Then the just above the splitter, then on both sides and along the middle of the wire.
Now just over 4 months since replacement, it has cracks/splits all over the wire and sound again in the right ear is almost gone.
The wire is getting wrapped loosely round the ipod and so may well be my own fault. But what else are you going to do with them between uses?
I purchased this on the strength of the reviews and the reasonable price. It charged my Sony Walkman 8gb once but now doesn't work. It wouldn't charge my mobile either through its supplied USB lead (Samsung J700). Needless to say I'm very disappointed.

Hi. Thinking of buying this for my son who owns a Ford Focus. With this Belkin Transmitter for an Ipod, there seems to be a problem with several models of cars in relation to where the cigarette lighter/gear stick are situated to enable the fixing of the transmitter. Has anyone used this in a Ford Focus please? If so, were there any obvious problems. I have a basic Belkin transmitter for my Iriver MP3 which works o.k. in our Toyota Yaris, but it requires batteries which always run out at the most inconvenient time. This Belkin apparently doesn't require batteries which would be a big plus. It also looks - am I too old to say it? - Cool! Any advice would be appreciated.

I bought this product a couple of weeks ago for £15. The only reason I am commenting on this product is because of the bad reputation it currently has.
Firstly, the logo is on the right side of the case and when first opened it stinks of leather. However putting this aside it is a great product. My iPod touch(2g) fits exactly in it and I have easy access to all the docks & buttons. The case itself is very smooth and quite stylish. It also feels as if there is a board on the cover flap which has re-assured me that my iPod is always protected.
Overall I would say this is a good product and is good value for money

These headphones sound great and are fine for sport but, and it's a big BUT, if you want to wear them lying down, sitting in a high backed chair (on a bus, train, plane, sofa etc) forget it! The band around the back of your head is pushed forward and dislodges the earpieces from their proper position. This is uncomfortable and destroys the sound. If this is not bad enough the insulation covering the wires started to come off after a couple of weeks of normal use. After one year nearly half the insulation has gone and the wire tangles and looks a total mess. These headphones have been on the market a long time yet nothing seems to have been done about this problem. I will never buy Sennheiser again.

I was alerted to these headphones after the Which? website reccomended them. I was looking for a pair of affordable headphones which still managed excellent sound quality and comfort and I was not dissappointed by the Sennheiser PX100. I use them whilst walking, commuting and running (for busses).
The pads on the inside of the headband make these headphones extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this style over the in-ear buds for comfort too. They are also convenient and portable as they fold to fit a carry case (the case itself is actually not entirely necessary). On top of this, the sound quality is surprisingly good for its depth and bass - the volume isn't dissappointing either. I listen to every genre from classical to jazz and from reggae to metal ... From other reviews this product looked great and would give me DAB radio in the car. The reality was sadly disappointing. Since receiving the radio in July two of them have failed. When they have worked they've generally been fiddly to use and seem to lose the DAB station easily. On a long journey i've found it necessary to change the FM frquency as local station overpower the DAB.
All in all a real shame as I like Pure DAB radios and have been pleased with the domestic models we have purchased.
