Please don't waste your money on this (or any other brand for that matter) expensive HDMI cables UNLESS someone can demonstrate they make a difference over the cheaper HDMI cables! Having already recently purchased a good / well insulated £10 'no brand' 3 metre HDMI cable from amazon, I was interested to see whether upgrading from a cheapo HDMI cable to the more expensive QED Qunex HDMI-P would make a difference on my Samsung 42" HD ready PLASMA running from the excellent PS3.
Luckily I was able borrow a friend's 1 metre QED Qunex HDMI-P cable and test it whilst playing games first hand. Let me tell you there was NO DIFFERNCE AT ALL in picture or sound quality between my cheapo HDMI cable and the QED one. To make absolutely sure ... Read More:

I dithered over whether to spend that bit more on going for 'Sony quality' and I am glad I did.
Excellent tv and easy to set up and use.

Great reviews from everybody! I personally don't know how well it works.
It was my intention to wall mount this set. I discovered, after purchasing a single arm extending bracket specifically recommended for this model, that the fixing holes on the back of this and some other Panasonic TVs are 50mm off centre. This means that when mounted, the television lists to the left. Short of cutting the corresponding legs off your viewing seat there seems to be no answer to this problem.
I understand that Panasonic are alone in this bizarre arrangement. They only supply as an extra, when in stock, fixed, flush brackets. The set arrives with the stand (if that's what you want) attached.
Fantastic low price for a 19-inch HD-ready widescreen LCD with Freeview, though an initial glance does make it easy to see where the savings were made. The stand is a bit flimsy, the entire backplane flexes away from you when you push the power lead home, and some of the Freeview features appear to have been implemented as part of a GCSE project. For example, rather than showing a grid full of channels and times like you'd see on any standalone digibox, this Polaroid's electronic program guide (EPG) only shows limited information on one selected channel. It's easily the most useless EPG I've ever seen, and as such means you're missing out on one of the main reasons to go digital. Don't cancel your Radio Times subscription just yet!
Just recently bought the Panasonic EZ47 DVD/VHS Combi recorder from Amazon and am archiving most of my VHS tapes to RAM Discs (supplied by K K Electronics - excellent fast service). Having viewed the discs after copying, the images are superb and the recorder/disc combination does definitely upgrade the image when viewed on a compatible 100Hz tv. The copying initiation with this recorder is simplicity itself and I shall definitely stick to these discs (no formatting etc) for all forms of recording/archiving in the future.

Aside from the hold button issue which can be avoided by sliding the walkman in whilst holding the back away from inside back of case (the leather front will give a little) this case is well designed and protects the walkman very well. I have used it now almost daily for 6 months in a physical work environment which has subjected the walkman and case to a fair few knocks and bumps and being dropped onto metal floors, I am also an avid EQ fiddler so the case and popper fastener has also been well used. There is no fraying edges to the leather and all leather surfaces still feel soft and haven't worn, all stitching is still intact, nothing has come loose and the popper is still secure and its kept my walkman safe and looking new. It does add a fair bit to the thickness ... Read More:

Lovely DVD player at a great price.
Bought just over a month ago but it's had tons of DVD playtime and I've had no problems thus far.
Mine is a multi-regional. I think the models are if you buy them through Amazon Marketplace (I maybe wrong) but just double check this before you order.

Just bought the Veho VMS-001 and for the money it is a very handy tool. I look on it not as a microscope but more of a very high power magnifier which is able to explode the view onto a monitor (larger monitor the better). Great tool for the watch/clock man or anyone working with small items where a detail view is required. Of course there is also the added bonus of it's ability to capure each view either in still or video format.
All in all a great and extremely useful buy
