Being new to this type of product i was sceptical at first, then thought let's give it a try, and i have to say i was pleasantly suprised. The dongle is small and works really well, slight drawback is the portable aerial, cannot receive any signal with this, although that could be down to my area.
Once plugged into my normal aerial though it is just as good as the standard digital set top box for my tv >>More Details |

I find the August USB Tv receiver fantastic! It's a nice gadget at an attractive price. It works perfectly fine on my IBM. The set up was very simple following the instruction. The blazevideo software is easy to use and the interface looks cool with a bundle of different features!
I use the supplied aerial since I don't have a rooftop aerial. I assume the freeview signal where I live will be good as I am living in London zone 2. Given the price is cheap I thought it is worth a go. It came up about 52 channels on the EPG list included 8 or 9 radio channels. Having just signed up to a gym, i needed a pair of earphones that wont pop out my ears when on the treadmill. These seemed like a good choice. They're comfortable, light and secure but the biggest let down is the complete lack of bass compared to the earphones that came with my creative zen. Other than that these arn't a bad purchase.

Very usefull to have one of these, i use it in low light / night, landscape and still life photography. I find it perfect when shooting seascapes and need to get waves just as they are breaking. Great bit of kit and highly recommended.

I spent a long time searching the internet for a decent surround system to replace my 2 little speaker on my pc. I couldnt decide which ones to go for but after reading all the brilliant reviews I knew I just had to get my money's worth! And I am SO glad I did. Easy to assemble Sound perfect you barely need the bass I have it just under the half way mark. No distortion what so ever. Very pleased and turned up a day early too with the super saver delivery! The only minor niggle is that the leads on the speakers are not extremely long if you have a big room but I still give it 5 out of 5 for the money!

Relatively expensive for what it is, but also reliable as befits the Sony name, and will charge other mp3 players. I've used it to charge my Sony Walkman, iPod Shuffle, and Creative Zen Stone, all without a problem. It looks exactly like the photo: it's a simple plug with a slot at its top, into which you insert your mp3's USB cable. Very neat, very simple, and it works without any worries.

Ok. I've just purchased a new PC with a top of the range Creative labs sound card, the next order of business was a good pair of PC speakers. Having read the rave reviews on this site & others, I decided to go for the Soundsticks II. Well, the build quality is excellent, both the satellites & the bass unit have a really solid, quality feel about them & it looks great too. Setup is easy, just take a moment to examine the connections, they look a bit like an S-Video connection and if you're not careful it is possible to break the small pins inside. The only drawback is the sound quality. Perhaps I'm being over critical as I normally listen to music with Shure E5C headphones but still, in my humble opinion, these speakers just don't sound that good with music. ... Read More:

I have been using this model now for seven months,and apart from only getting about fifteen channels, when I thought I would get dozens as it's digital I am still quite pleased with it.But what really made me sit down and write this review is that I had to send it back today as it started playing up which does happen, (but you do get a two year warranty).Unfortunately you have to send it back to pure at your expense which is not cheap as you need to insure it as well for peace of mind. If you buy it from amazon like I did they will only exchange it within six months after which you will have to send it back to pure. Bear that in mind if you are buying one (it's a lot easier taking it back to a local store) under pures two year warranty.
