I have been using this system for last 3 months. I am completely gobsmacked. This system produces the sound as good as the speaker costing 5times more than the price I have paid.

Firstly, as a previous reviewer said, this is a great looking TV. I checked it out in the flesh before I placed my order via Amazon and I was excited about it being delivered. Unfortunately, that is where the excitement ended.
Upon arrival I attached the tv effortlessly to the wall mount that I had purchased along with it. Fitting the wall mount was simple and effective and I was up and running in no time. Within seconds of turning it on however I noticed that there was a large luminous pair of "dead" pixels just to the left of the centre of the screen. When i first received the TV i was initially amazed at the picture quality. SD pictures on sky looked fantastic. Theres no judder, minimal artifacts and the contrast is amazing considered this is an LCD. Upscaled DVDs look incredibly detailed and vibrant. Im getting a blu ray player to take advantage of the 1080p/24fps resolution as well.
However i noticed a seepage of light in the top right corner of the TV that appeared on dark backgrounds. Once i saw it, it was hard to ignore. It was very pronounced and very distracting. I got a replacement set and that had exactly the same problem albeit in a different location on the screen. Ordered this cable at the same time I ordered PVR from another supplier on 18th June. PVR arrived on 20th.
The cable finally arrived this morning, 25th. Happily the PVR came with its own cable-however,the downside to this was that the cable was cheap and caused a lot of "ghosting". The Strand cable has cured most of the "ghosting", and, as such, is very good value for the unit cost and P&P- if you can afford to wait for delivery, that is. >>More Details |

Having read the reviews I bought these thinking Sony should be fine. I found these have been brilliant. Clear sound, of course they click a little if you are miles away but overall best value for the money.

An awsome unit. I received mine yesterday and am so happy with it. The sound is superb, with fairly good bass and good clarity. Other reviews state that the tuner cant tune properly. These people have not set the unit up right. It just needs to be set to Euro tuning instead of USA, and then everything is fine. The white casing looks better than the black as it shines the blue illumination around it better. I'm very happy.

This is the remote that works all the Sky Digital Receivers, it is the black version easy to use, nice clear display, with good size buttons.

Our DVD recorder did not recognise any discs most of the time and needed some convincing to recognise this one at first. But when it did, it was cured after one cleaning treatment and has accepted every disc since. Very good product price, simple and effective.
