I am a Pure fan and this is my sixth Pure digital radio. I had such high hopes. Firstly let me say that the radio or Chargepak E1 that I bought at the same time has a fault in that it will not run on battery power for more than 10 minutes - then the controls lock up. So it's going back. Pure's customer relations is creaky to say the least. I have been waiting for five days now for a return lable and still not sign despite various promises. Apart from the fault the radio sounds great and it mostly works ok. But yet again this is a wi-fi /DAB radio with a really clunky interface and quite horrible to use. My first internet/DAB was the Tangent Qauttro which outperforms this piece of junk as well as the Roberts Stream - another duff purchase - ... Read More:

I had been using a pair of Sony in-ear earphones for some time. However when they packed up I gave in and bought these, some three times more than the last pair.
I have not been let down. I also want to thank my friend daily for recommending them. The clarify of the music (which I normally rip at 192k) on my ipod is amazing. Whereas previously you could hear two instruments, but they sounded like it was one person playing, now they are separate, clear and concise.
It's been great fun listening to my music and hearing so much more detail than was there before.
If you're worried about spending £65 on a pair of ear phones, don't. It's worth every penny.

So far, I've no complaints with the DVD/Video combo. It's pretty easy to use, and produces decent quality pictures on my 37" HDTV. It does take a painfully long time to change drive from video to DVD and vice-versa, but I can live with that, I guess.
Anyway, does anyone know a multi-region hack for the DVD?? Thanks.

I ordered this bracket for my Pioneer 5080XD because I didn't want the TV sticking out too far - the Plasma is quite deep (about 4") and it holds the TV only 1" away from the wall. This is perfect because I am bringing the wall out a few inches so the screen will look like it's an inch thick.
It comes with all the fixings you need - a range of bolts to attach the bracket to the TV and some 3" concrete bolts to fix to the wall. It is very strong and once attached to the wall it's rock solid. The locking bar is useful - once the tv is on the wall this bar slides through the slots preventing the tv from being lifted off.
I can't see why anyone would pay hundreds for a bracket when this does the job perfectly.

Wasn't sure about them as they were cheap but I bought them anyway, and was happy with the product. None of the seams have broken and they protect your CD/DVDs well with plenty of room inside. The plastic is thin but not too thin that the CD surface could get damaged in anyway. Will definatly buy again :)

I did a fair bit of research before settling on this Sony. I was originally interested in the 7" model, but it is worth going for the extra size to get a better picture. The quality is outstanding - very sharp even with 80s TV programmes on DVD. The colours are punchy and crisp and overall I am very impressed with the visuals.
Althought it is region 2, it plays my region 4 DVDs fine, but cannot play Region 1 NTSC disks.
Two earphone jacks is great so you can watch a movie on a plane or train with others.
The detachable battery is slim and means when using the unit through the plug without a battery, it is nice and slimline.
I think it is better than any of the Phillips, Toshiba and other models I viewed.

The cable arrived within 48 hours of ordering, and it worked fine straight out of the clear plastic bag it came in. Even allowing for the fairly hefty post and packing charge of £3.99, the total cost was just half of what I paid for a similar (though not gold-plated) SCART cable from my local electrical store. Based on my experience, I give this product five stars.

Bought this for our 5 year old for Christmas as a cheaper version broke after a few weeks last year. She loves it. Sound is great for a toy guitar. We have a rock chick in the making!
