these headphones have been designed for great sound. they have thought about everything from the careful leaving out of a volume control, to the gold plated connection. they really pack a punch: the bass can make your spine vibrate and even the highest volumes don't damage the quality of the sound, except for sometimes at very high pitches at very very loud, it can become slightly tinny. they are also so comfortable that after a while you forget you're wearing them. i think that sennheiser would not dare damage their reputation by producing anything that wasn't up to their very high standards, and even if they made a bigger profit from this individual product, if the headphones weren't up to standard, customers would think twice before buying ... Got this great player last week, I was using PS3 before for Blu Ray only and I was not happy with sound quality... So I bought this player and found huge difference!
In PS3, it was restricted in Picture and Sound settings, you can now play around as you can in dedicate player. Now I can set them as I want and pass... sound in Bitstream to my amplifier to get maximum output. About this player, it's easy to setup, crisp picture, better colours and excellent sound output. Having spent weeks looking at diferent reviews of the Intempo and others,I decided to buy and I am absolutely delighted. It looks great and is so easy to use that I had it working without refering to the instructions- just used them for the little extras.Some reviews talk about the poor sound quality, well unless you are expecting expensive hi fi quality it is great .

I use these for high power flash guns, portable DAB radio, digitial recording devices and anything that requires batteries to be virtually new for the equipment to work at it's best. The 'life' of the battery is not as good as a top one off the shelf but the re-charge speed is fast (an hour max) and the economics speak for itself. The only down-sides are the charger is pretty bulky if travelling, slower to charge on lower voltage through an adaptor(that is to be expected)and when not used they discharge quicker than normal. Have a few spare sets available to always keep going otherwise there is the hour wait.

Despite warnings from friends that aerials like this just don't work i decided to take a gamble based on reviews and i'm not sorry i did

Im thinking of buying this but its to replace my old Sony 5.1 system that i plug my 360 into. I notice you say there's no way of plugging the 360 into this system but the specs say it has an Optical in so Why don't you use that ?

Bought this item back in January and found the right hand ear bud lost all sound after a month.
Returned and quickly replaced with a new set, without quibble. After 3 months the new set started to have a few minor cracks/splits in the wire covering; At the connection to the right ear piece. Then the just above the splitter, then on both sides and along the middle of the wire. Now just over 4 months since replacement, it has cracks/splits all over the wire and sound again in the right ear is almost gone. The wire is getting wrapped loosely round the ipod and so may well be my own fault. But what else are you going to do with them between uses? I brought this to replace a 5 year old Philips DVD Recorder. The main purpose was to backup stuff from my Sky+ box.
The Sky+ has a clever Copy facility, that with my old recorder used to signal the attached recorder to start and stop, so i could backup easily, with no more than 2 keypresses on Sky+. After much research, it looked like the Sync Record function on this unit was exactly the same thing. Its not. This is a huge downgrade in usefulness over an early cheap 5 year old recorder. I bought this product a couple of weeks ago for £15. The only reason I am commenting on this product is because of the bad reputation it currently has.
Firstly, the logo is on the right side of the case and when first opened it stinks of leather. However putting this aside it is a great product. My iPod touch(2g) fits exactly in it and I have easy access to all the docks & buttons. The case itself is very smooth and quite stylish. It also feels as if there is a board on the cover flap which has re-assured me that my iPod is always protected.
