A book written with plenty of detail. I recommend it along with the much talked about book 'SACRED SPACE' by ELIZABETH BAILEY, for the whole complement of beating Depression, Anxiety and Stress.

I got a copy of this book in the old cover style and it has definitely been a lifesaver.
All the recipes are easy, you don't need any fancy equipment and the dishes range from incredibly cheap to something to splash out on (Like the vodka chili!!) although the majority of them will definitely not break the bank.
Although it is a student cookbook I'd recommend it to anyone as some meals are impressive enough to serve to guests, but it also has fun family meals as well. All quantities are for 2 people so easy to divide or multiply up as well. I also like the snacks and standbys section at the end which has great lunchtime recipes.
This book was written by combining the Student cookbook and the Vegetarian student ... Read More:

You Can Be Thin: The Ultimate Programme to End Dieting... Forever
The approach taken by this book is highly effective. There is nothing else like it out there. Marisa Peer has produced what I can only describe as a work of art. This book is helping me to lose weight and gain health at a remarkable pace. The spin offs from the positive message in this book are also benefitting me in other areas of my life.
Seriously, this is the one you need.

This book is really easy to read, clear and informative. The juicing plan is outlined well and I feel, much better than his previous book 7lbs in 7 days (although I still loved that one!). This plan is more easy to follow and fit into family life. The basic principles are the same; juice/smoothie for breakfast and lunch, and soup for dinner. This then extends after 7 days to a more flexible plan juice/smoothie for breakfast and lunch for 5 days a week then just replace the soup to a healthy meal.
Great!

I love this book, infact I love juicing. Jason is a great inspiration and juicing certainly helped me to a healthier and trimmer body. I have tried most of the recipes and all of them taste wonderful. The vegetable ones are a great way to use up the excess stock from my allotment.
I didn't even buy this book - it came free with my juicer, now that's a bargain.

I keep reading about negative stuff about the diet but do u not think to yourselves that for thousands of years man lived on meat and veg alone. They didn't have bread then and yet they survived. So are you saying that because we have all these luxuaries now, we have to eat them to be healthy? I think not!

i have read this book out of intertest after loosing 2 stone with paul mckenna.i have an interest in people and our relationship with food
i like the idea of intuitive eating, but then its says you shouldnt really eat alot of this or that, surely if he says follow your instincts about what to eat, saying what you idealy shouldnt eat is a contradiction? i mean with paul mckenna there is nothing at all you should be thinking about,no sugar or dairy, meat questions.just plain simple eat what you want and let the body tell yopu, how can your body be wrong.i have lost losts of weight and i dont eat alot of any so called junk food ,but if i really fancy it,i have it. i do think he has some interesting points and my husband stopped smoking thanks to his book,so ...
