You get the recipe, the yield and a nice little picture showing what its supposed to look like. What more could you want? Another great addition is the run down of all your raw materials and the pros and cons of each (which earns you many brownie points as a student). There is also a lot of stuff about various tools of the trade but as most of us know, you buy said gizmo, use it once and then it finds its niche on a shelf somewhere. The one thing you must remember though is that this is a book for professionals and if you are someone who dabbles in the kitchen at home you may be better ... Read More:

The book cover drew me to this book as I am a cheesecake lover. However, I was very disappointed when it arrived. It is a very small paper book with no pictures inside. The cheesecake recipes all come from America and use american ingredients which are very hard to find here. The lack of pictures makes it difficult to visualise the end product. Yet another beautifully produced book from the talented Alan Dunn. There is a good introduction with details on equipment, techniques and recipes. The flowers (32 of them) are very unusual - most not found in other sugarcraft books - and each one shows step by step instructions with photographs. There are thirteen sprays and arrangements and fifteen cakes; all with details of how to achieve them.
This book would make a lovely addition to any sugarcrafter's collection.
