I bought this book to be able to cope with stress situations that generated lot of somatic problems including the sudden rise of blood pressure. I found the help quite good, easy to follow, and directly to the point. In Chapter 1 you will find immediately the many causes of stress and a direct help on how to use the Workbook: depending on your symptoms a Table will show you which Chapters you should read. Each Chapter deals with one particular method, so that you know which methods are the most specific for your case. Each Chapter has a selected bibliography, so that if one Method is good for you, you can buy another book to go deeper in that method.

This book is great for the novice barfer. It is easy to follow and certainly convinced me of the need to move over to this diet. My puppy looks great on his meat, veg and bones and rarely misses a meal. I really would recommend lots of reading with barf but certainly get this book first as it will give you a sound basis from which to start from.

This book is an amazing overview of the function of the liver, the symptoms of a bad liver and how a diet can help you to improve your liver function.
Reading it answered many questions i had about why i had been feeling certain ways throughout my life. I didnt really know what the liver did before i read this but you soon find out it is essential to look after it.
There are many reasons to read this book, not just losing weight, i recommend it to anyone interested in their own well being.

I have always been a bit sceptical about these detox things but after losing 5 stone and hitting a plateau I felt like I needed to do something more. My Auntie recommended this detox plan and we decided to do it at the same time so we could support each other as it was my first time. I must admit the initial outlay was expensive but then you've basically got what you need and just have to keep stocking up, although the items do tend to last a few weeks at a time. I'm now on my last week of the detox and I feel fantastic. I'm sleeping more soundly, my skin is in excellent condition and I think I've lost a few pounds although I'm not weighing myself until the last day (was 10st 7lbs on day 1). Although this really is a very nice cook book from the always reliable Ainsley, it is in fact a stripped down version of the 2006 "The Feel Good Cook Book" with only 80 recipes instead of the original 150!
This wasn't made clear in the description of the book when we bought it so we feel we've been misled.

Wow! What can I say. This book has to have some of the most inspirational vegetarian recipes I have ever seen. I've just had great reactions at a dinner party to the Oyster Mushrooms in Ginger Butter that I cooked from a recipe in this book, and I have to agree with them. The recipes are not necessarily the quickest to prepare, but if they all taste as good as the mushrooms, then the extra time taken to put them together will be worth it. Since buying this book, my plans for this year now include a trip to Cork to sample the delights of this restaurant.

This book is fab. I cook for twins who are 19 months old so I adapt the receipes to suit them. I think the recipes are very yummy, and my kids think so too. The aloha Kebabs are delicious - i cook extra for myself always. The children's favorite is the Avecado spread on their bread.
The meals take on average about 40 minutes in total including the prep, which isn't that long in my opinion and they are all so easy.
I know the slogan is to decpetively put vegetables in each meal, which I do as per the recipe, but I always put a seperate vegetable on the side of their meal so they learn to accept and eat them. My twins love their vegetables and enjoy eating these meals.
