Just received the new Dyson CD25 'Ball,' the Super Saver Delivery service is quick. I placed the order on Friday afternoon & by Saturday 10am (less than 24 hours), I had used the Dyson to great success.
Easy to follow instruction for the assembly of the main handle to the body of the unit. Plain English manual to fully learn how to use the 'Ball' to best effect. It's incredible considering two days ago I had used my 'old' vac to clean the hallway, this little baby goes further than expected. Talk about suction power & ease of use. I bought this on the basis of other reviews seen here, and have not been disappointed. It does a really great job of cleaning and bringing carpets back to life.
Great customer service too... One of the tank handles on mine broke. I rang the number on the sticker on the machine and within 2 days had a replacement delivered to my door. No fuss, no quibling, just great service. (But take time to register your guarantee when you get it, and keep the number - I get the impression it might have been a different story if I had not) Only down side is the cost of the fluid. Roughly speaking it costs around £5 in fluid to do the average room sized carpet, depending on how liberal you are with it of course. >>More Details |

I cannot fault HENRY, infact I am on my second one. The first one lasted me 26 years and it had fallen down the stairs on several occasions, without a mark on it and still smiling!

What a great little machine, compact, efficient, light, great design and styling. Have had Dysons for years and no problems so far. This machine really wins in the weight stakes, it's light and easily carried upstairs by myself and my wife. She loves it and it stows away much better than our our old machine. After reading several reviews sites I decided to take the plunge. My old vacuum had just about had it.
The Vax Mach 7 arrived within two days. Assembly is only two screws for the handle. I was using it within minutes. I found the noise level quite acceptable and the tools were adequate. Yes as others have said it's on the heavy-ish side, but I think that it gives it a reassuring feel of a solid well build machine. I was dismayed at the sheer amount of muck that started flying into the vacuum. Just goes to show you never know what's lucking on the floor. The only thing I would say is that there is too much suction when using the tools. The pipe tends to shrink because of the suction so you have to fight it out again. It would be nice if ... The difference is in the design with this Dyson. You just have to see the detail. It's vastly superior to any other handheld. In fact, from Dyson's own website, I can buy any part, and make a whole new machine myself and without having to pay for costly repairs. What do you do with your old handheld when it breaks - throw it away and buy another one? Well done Mr. Dyson. It's a top product.
If you want a good price, like I did, then price watch a few places and wait for offers and deals to come by. This is a machine for people who continuously clean all the time, as opposed to people who spend one single long period doing a more complete cleaning chore. The trigger is good too. This is the type of product I'd never have considered buying until happening upon it by chance on Amazon. It was our first winter in our modern two bed house last year and we suffered condensation on windows badly, leading to the frames suffering a type of fungal growth which wasn't pleasant and risked rotting the wooden frames. After reading about the DEM10 I was keen to try and have now been using one for the last 3 months. It makes a huge difference and the proof it is working is visible from the water that collects in the tank, and the lack of condensation on the windows. The unit is relatively compact and sits on our landing in order to have a central place in the house. The water reservoir is easy to remove and replace, and can have it changed in 20 secs. Difficult to imagine how inefficient my other vacuum cleaners were until I powered up this "beast"!
The upright and the "wand" (the cylinder-like hose attachment) both removed quite dramatic amounts of dirt, dust, fluff and detritus from what I had imagined was a clean carpet. I'm sitting staring in disbelief at the amount of stuff in the bagless dirt/rubbish container. I recommend this machine. >>More Details |

Wow, who invented these? I've got one fitted to my Henry Vacuum Cleaner - a highly recommended product - Numatic HVR200 Henry Vacuum Cleaner Red 1200W - and it is one of many I have used. No rips, overflows, burst bags or general delinquency yet. They just do the job they're designed for, and they do it well. They're so brilliant I'm thinking of marrying one.

This iron has the features I wanted and some I didn't know I wanted. My last iron was heavy and I liked it, not having to press down. The bottom of this one is coated to make it glide easily which was not true with earlier irons. The turbo steam is really fierce which I think is a good thing. The ultracord seemed like a gimmick, but isn't - the cord doesn't bang my wrist and if I didn't like it, I wouldn't have to use it. The iron heats quickly, the cord is extra long, it's easy to fill and the base is very steady. I can't fault it.
