I have had a George Foreman before, but cleaning it could be a bit of a hassle until I got this one. It is very easy to use and extremely easy to clean.

Every review for this product tells you it's big, but not HOW big, search on-line and somewhere you might actually find the dimensions, but when you're listening to the people on this site you'll be thinking, maybe they're exaggerating....THEY'RE NOT. You might even be thinking, 'How big could it be?', it's BIG.
But even if you do know the dimensions it's not a simple case of ensuring you have enough space to contain the grill, when you have the grill closed, the handle overhangs the bottom of the grill by 12cm, and when you open it, the lid overhangs the back by an extra 4cm, so if you don't want the handle poking out over the edge of any worksurfaces and you want the lid to open onobstructed you'll need more space. These Grill Sponges are excellent for cleaning all the ins & outs of the George Foreman Grill plates, which is almost impossible to do with a normal sponge scrubber, without damaging either the scrubber, or the grill plate.
I first discovered them a couple of years ago, and have found them so good, although hard to find locally, that whenever I discover a shop with them, I buy several packs, to ensure that I won't run out, before I have to restock. I would greatly recommend them to everyone. >>More Details |

I can only echo the praise of the other reviewers for this product. You can buy cheap toastie makers in most supermarkets now for under £5, so yes this is expensive but it is worth every penny. Whether you're toasting thick slices of bread, making paninis or toasted sandwiches, or even cooking bacon or sausages, this little gem does them to perfection. It heats up in no time, and is easy to clean.

Normally I tend to confine my reviews to items of the literary kind, but as I can't really be bothered with another book review at the moment (and because I bought this grill from Amazon recently) I thought I'd turn my critical eye on the Big George.
This is my first real experience with health grills, and overall I'd have to say I'm quite impressed. The grilling area heats up quickly and is big enough to fit plenty of burgers on, making it a handy backup if you've invited all your friends over for a BBQ but the weather isn't cooperating. The unit feels solid and durable, though the temperature control seems unusually delicate, as if it doesn't really do anything. It's great for a get together with family or friends!!
The only bad thing is that it requires a very special care, you will have to clean it while still hot, and with a cloth wet on oil. The same thing before use it, you have to spread some oil to prevent the food to sticking to the grill, and to clean it, as you are not supposed to wash it with water or anything else. I end up almost never using it because of the trouble it is, but when I do, it's worth it!!!! The food taste great!!!! >>More Details |
