I absolutely love the kenwood wizzard, I bought it about 4 months ago after breaking my old braun one (it fell out of the top cupboard & shattered on the floor!) I use the wizzard daily to make home-made baby food, I have been using the blender section for smooth purees and have now progressed onto the chopper attachment to introduce texture to the baby food. I cant comment on the whisk element as not had cause to use this yet. Would definately reccommend to anyone.

The difference is in the design with this Dyson. You just have to see the detail. It's vastly superior to any other handheld. In fact, from Dyson's own website, I can buy any part, and make a whole new machine myself and without having to pay for costly repairs. What do you do with your old handheld when it breaks - throw it away and buy another one? Well done Mr. Dyson. It's a top product.
If you want a good price, like I did, then price watch a few places and wait for offers and deals to come by.
This is a machine for people who continuously clean all the time, as opposed to people who spend one single long period doing a more complete cleaning chore. The trigger is good too. That means the machine is only ... Read More:

I have owned this product for about 10 years and it has been wonderful. It was called Megamix then and it was white plastic and not as powerful as this model. Mine finally wore out tonight so I have purchased this one with no doubts whatsoever. It turns ice cold skimmed milk into the consistency (and taste suprisingly) of double cream with no fat. It chops, blends and whips with no effort. It can even turn oil and eggs into mayonnaise which most blenders can't. A definite good buy and you will use it often. Great for dieters and cooks. (One of which I am not but still love the product).

We originally bought this because we were fed up with having to blend soup in little batches in our normal jug style blender. I didn't think we'd use the accessories much, but a couple of months down the line and we've used them all. The jug is great for smoothies and its tupperware-like top makes the jug really useful in itself. The turbo boost is hardly ever necessary as the normal speed blends things in very little time. The fact that all the messy bits can go in the dishwasher is excellent. The only tiny complaint I'd have is that our dishwasher seems not to be able to clean right to the bottom of the jug, but I'm sure that's more to do with our dishwasher than the blender! Since we got this blender we've made smoothies a lot more often than we ... Read More:

I bought this in January and although I did use it a couple of times a week, this really is not up to the job. It's now broken. In fact it broke about a month ago. I put up with the oily smell that others had commented on but thought it would go. It didn't really. This time I'm going to buy a Kenwood as this one lasted for years and never complained about the amount of mixture!
Don't buy it!!

I brought this to clean my car and needed good suction to remove clumps of mud, dog hair and grit. It certainly removed them and the motorised head which is not air powered but a separate electric motor which gets its power through two prongs just above the nozzle join is very good with its coarse and stiff bristles.
But what good is it when you can only get six minutes of use out of it. I figured I could just get a second battery and have that on charge while I vacuum with another battery - alas not! The only way to charge a battery is to couple it to the device and charge it. A major design oversight in my opinion.
I could forgive the six minute thing if the price was not so high and use it for spot cleaning as the ... Read More:

I bought this blender elsewhere, but feel obliged to share the review as i am still looking for a hand blender.
The chopping attachments are excellent and the variable speeds give good versatality with different ingredients. The blender shaft is efficient and expeditiously blends foods smooth.
I used and placed my blender shaft in the dishwasher twice and found that the plastic part came away. The blender shaft has a black insert which is glued to the stainless steel exterior. While I was trying to fit it the stainless steel edge cut my hand. I returned it for a full refund, and it was reported to Philips. I received a letter from them saying that I had misused the product. Was disappointed.

Bought one ten years or so ago and it's faithfully looked after my knives ever since. I admit I was initially disappointed, until realising you're supposed to leave the cover *down* when using it, lol :)
Tempted by the Shinkansen 'Water' Sharpener, but Kitchen Devils couldn't be simpler & quicker to use, + it's reasonably priced too!
