In the past twelve years I've managed a grand total of three weeks without a working bread maker (when making olive bread, be sure that the olives you are using are pitted!). This machine recently replaced a Russell Hobbs model that was getting a little squeaky in use. I've by no means explored all its possibilities, but I have never had a bread machine as good as this before.
I generally prefer to use the dough setting, as I prefer to shape the loaf myself, but I have tried "going all the way" with this machine and apart from the hole in the base where the paddle was, the results are barely distinguishable from a conventional oven baked loaf. Had two now, found food to be excellent potatoes, vegatables, meat in all forms, but will not buy another one due to them both breaking on the catches for the lid, same fault both times!!!!!!!!

This product was unable to fully cook the ingredients of a meal, even after many hours on the high setting. Perhaps it was just this particular unit that was defective, but I will search around for a different model. The Amazon.com returns policy, however, is user friendly and they have provided a full refund.

Can anyone help with this question about the splash guard on the kitchen aid mixer? I am very tempted to buy the basic white Kitchen Aid mixer BUT it dosen't come with a splash guard. Do you think you need the splash guard? Also, the bowl is slightly smaller than the artisan ones. Am I being too picky??!!!

Just received the new Dyson CD25 'Ball,' the Super Saver Delivery service is quick. I placed the order on Friday afternoon & by Saturday 10am (less than 24 hours), I had used the Dyson to great success.
Easy to follow instruction for the assembly of the main handle to the body of the unit. Plain English manual to fully learn how to use the 'Ball' to best effect. It's incredible considering two days ago I had used my 'old' vac to clean the hallway, this little baby goes further than expected. Talk about suction power & ease of use. Out of the box this is a very elegant looking machine compared to most ice cream makers. I had a Philips one some years ago and this unit is no noiser than that, they all seem to make some noise due to the gearing. Freeze the ice bucket in your freezer for 24 hours and its ready. Put on the lid with the paddle and motor and away it goes, pour your mixture in and freezing begins immediately. If the mixture actually freezes completely the machine changed direction to remove the blockage, hence the gearing noise I suspect. In around 15 minutes or less I had lovely frozen yoghurt. This unit is great for small-medium loads 1-2 people maybe three at a stretch but if your looking for family sized then this is maybe a little too small for that. There is nothing nicer ... I have purchased and have personal use of this product. Ideal for anyone who has any difficulties in lifting a Kettle and/or having to stand and wait for the boil. Simple as pushing a button, cup/mug is simply placed on the worktop under the nozzle the pre programmed amount of water is dispensed into the cup/mug and that's it. I fill the water in the tank and can leave the device with full peace of mind knowing the extra safety of this product will take care of things!... I notice few reviews have mentioned the key advantage over a standard kettle.

I bought this on the basis of other reviews seen here, and have not been disappointed. It does a really great job of cleaning and bringing carpets back to life.
Great customer service too... One of the tank handles on mine broke. I rang the number on the sticker on the machine and within 2 days had a replacement delivered to my door. No fuss, no quibling, just great service. (But take time to register your guarantee when you get it, and keep the number - I get the impression it might have been a different story if I had not) Only down side is the cost of the fluid. Roughly speaking it costs around £5 in fluid to do the average room sized carpet, depending on how liberal you are with it of course. >>More Details |
