The coffee stove-pot bit the dust when my wife left it on the wrong (heated) cooker ring with no water in it. This had the unfortunate effect of melting the rubber seal, making the pot useless. My wife of course apologised, not quite as fulsomely as I would have liked, blaming the cooker, me (of course) and anyone else in the neighbourhood.
I was resigned to buying a new one until I found out you could get spares on Amazon (the pot was actually in the bin at that point).
The spares came within 48 hours (postage a bit steep) and they fitted easily into the pot even for a butterfingers like me, excellent! Now I can stop jittering with caffeine withdrawal.
