I always read reviews prior to buying so thought it about time I wrote one of my own. I have to admit that i have not been a great beleiver in buying the more expensive things in life thinking that lesser money doesn't always mean lesser quality. In this instance I am glad I paid the extra money for a quality item, granted I bought the 50l touch whilst on offer for £45 but having compared the bin to other makes, I was going to buy one from Argos for £24.95, but on viewing the " Chrome effect", I opted for the excellent Brabantia.
I feel I must also give a big thumbs up to Amazon, the first bin arrived with a big dent, I rang customer services who sent me a shiny new one within 24 hrs and then gave me 30 days to have the damaged ... Read More: >>More Details |

Great bin - I already own one but bought another for my brother's xmas gift (ok, bit of a dull gift but it's what he wants). Brilliant size, easy to use and robost. The reason I wanted to write a review was to comment on how the first bin turned up with two small dents at the front. Make sure you thoroughly check the bin before accepting it as although the dents were small, the ceiling lights showed them up. The second bin arrived in perfect condition.
Full marks to amazon for providing an efficient easy to use returns system and for providing great products at good prices. Debenhams had the same bin for sale for £60 + a £5 p&p fee. >>More Details |

So called "unique hinge design" broke 10 months after purchase. One does not expect it from such an expensive bin. Very disappointed.
