I had always been tempted by one of these by the adverts on tv but wary of spending much on another bit of plastic to take up space in my kitchen. I decided to get one off ebay to try, paid about £7 so figured not much of a risk. When it came it was obviously not a genius one but a cheaper brand which I was expecting for the price but gave it a go and for about 2/3 weeks it was great and I thought I'd got myself a real bargain. Then the blades began to tarnish a bit and finally on the the blades bent on a potato and it was useless. I had had so much fun with it tho and used it so much more than I expected to that when I was at the ideal home show where there was a stall selling the genuine article for £20 I decided it was worth another go. ...
