Out of the box this is a very elegant looking machine compared to most ice cream makers. I had a Philips one some years ago and this unit is no noiser than that, they all seem to make some noise due to the gearing. Freeze the ice bucket in your freezer for 24 hours and its ready. Put on the lid with the paddle and motor and away it goes, pour your mixture in and freezing begins immediately. If the mixture actually freezes completely the machine changed direction to remove the blockage, hence the gearing noise I suspect. In around 15 minutes or less I had lovely frozen yoghurt. This unit is great for small-medium loads 1-2 people maybe three at a stretch but if your looking for family sized then this is maybe a little too small for that. There ... Read More:

I bought this, like many others I'm sure, on Delia's recommendation in her Cheat recipe book. It has been in almost daily use in my kitchen since the moment it arrived, about six months ago, so I thought I would add a review based on my experience. It is small - very small, so doesn't take up nearly as much space on the kitchen counter as having a food processor sitting there. It is very easy to take apart, clean and put back together again - these things are really essential for a kitchen machine being used as often as this one will be! Most importantly however, it really does what it says on the box really well. It chops things. Quickly, evenly, finely (if you press the button down for a longer period of time) coarsely (if you just press ... Read More:

I bought mine at the beginning of the year, and I love it. I agree that having to scrape some mix off the sides into the path of the beaters has been a bit irritating (hence only 4 stars), but now I know that it can be adjusted, I'll give it a go.
I disagree that stuff is blended, rather than mixed - I find it mixes very thoroughly, and batters etc are as light as air.
I absolutely love the kenwood wizzard, I bought it about 4 months ago after breaking my old braun one (it fell out of the top cupboard & shattered on the floor!) I use the wizzard daily to make home-made baby food, I have been using the blender section for smooth purees and have now progressed onto the chopper attachment to introduce texture to the baby food. I cant comment on the whisk element as not had cause to use this yet. Would definately reccommend to anyone.

I've given this five stars because it is a fantastic bit of kit and they give you a hell of a lot of accessories to go with it. It's gone up £19 since I bought it. But it is a good buy if you will use all the accessories that come with it. I've only made a carrot cake so only the basic items are needed - you have to ask yourselves if you really need all the extras or is a £40 version adequate. No problems at all with Kenwood I've got pretty much all I need. The graters are good and I mght try the chipper to go with my new Deep Fat Fryer. Oven chips stink!

I got two boxes of these Kenwood filters to use with my Brita kettle, and although they fit into the filter slot they are noticeably slower than the Brita branded cartridges.
If you compare the slots around the filter, the Brita ones have many more and will obviously let more water through in the same time. The Kenwood cartridges only have about 8 slots all the way round!
Most filter jugs have sloped sides to keep the water level above the wider top openings for as long as possible, however my kettle has quite a flat pre-filter reservoir, so with only one or two cups worth of water it takes a while before you're ready to go (it's not always convenient to fill the kettle in advance)
So okay this probably will put me in the past saving category, but I have wanted a Kenwood Chef since I first did Domestic Science at school around 1977! Oh yes I am that ancient. So now I have it all bright and shiny and new, even better than that it only cost me £179.00 inc P&P from AVIDES Media AG via Amazon, unbelievably good value.
Not only do I have the mixer, there is a food processor attachment and a glass liquidiser attachment, all the basic tools and a cook book outlining recipes to get the best out of my brand new friend. Maybe I need to get out more but the KM010 really is a thing of beauty and I was surprised how relatively small it is in real life.
In all honesty I probably could not justify paying around £400 for one of these, ... Read More:

This is the most original and coolest toaster on the planet. I can't believe how cheap it is for what you get.
A £150 dualit doesn't even pop toast up when it's done, it just burns it. This £30 toaster rather sexily lowers and raises your bread silently and smoothly, the only noise it makes ever is a soft beep to tell you its done.

This is a lovely looking compact food processor with many uses. I use mine for cakes, chopping, grating and other. Ideal for making cakes and would be good for pureeing food too. Great for chopping veg finely, was going to get the chopper recommended by Delia, but glad I got this with a few more uses. Stores well in a kitchen cupboard. I normally do wash all parts in the dishwasher.
Only gave 4 star as perhaps a little small for some uses, same as other reviewers had to separate and do a larger cake in two. Also not so sure of the durability of the bowl and the lid, especially clicking it into place on the machine.
