This product is simply superb. The candles are attractive and look authentic (save when viewed from above!). They're safe and clean (they don't smell when you 'blow' them out). They instantly create a lovely mood. I think they are a great addition to any home. I particularly like the fact that you can sit outside with them and they never go out. They are my favourite purchase of 2008. Don't think twice - you'll never regret buying them.

My husband bought me this for my birthday - and I love it! We've put it in the bedroom and I have the "zapper" on my bedside table. In the morning I turn it a bluey colour to help us wake up (circadian sensor), in the evening I have it on a dull orange as we get changed for bed (no circadian hit). If we want to read in bed, we just about can with it desaturated to white, though it's not really bright enough for long-term reading (and you couldn't light your living room with it).
Our 2-year-old son loves it too. When he climbs in our bed in the morning he always asks for the remote, plays with it and shouts out the colours.
I also took it along to a physics course my friend teaches - it is an excellent way to explain to ... Read More:

I bought this iron about six months ago and it has worked perfectly since day one. The range of steam settings offers good incremental positions and the no steam setting can be selected with one small movement of the slide.
The shape of the face plate seems to suit my shirt size(16)and I think my shirts have never looked better. I iron my shirts box flat when travelling for business or when I have limited space and a work colleague has now asked me three times if my shirt was new!
The water reservoir is a bit small and does need refilling fairly frequently otherwise I would have given this 5 stars.

We originally bought this because we were fed up with having to blend soup in little batches in our normal jug style blender. I didn't think we'd use the accessories much, but a couple of months down the line and we've used them all. The jug is great for smoothies and its tupperware-like top makes the jug really useful in itself. The turbo boost is hardly ever necessary as the normal speed blends things in very little time. The fact that all the messy bits can go in the dishwasher is excellent. The only tiny complaint I'd have is that our dishwasher seems not to be able to clean right to the bottom of the jug, but I'm sure that's more to do with our dishwasher than the blender! Since we got this blender we've made smoothies a lot more often than we used to, ... Read More:

Yes, it's great that it turns on automatically when it detects motion but why oh why could Philips not gone the extra yard and made it disable itself when it's not dark??? It comes on all day long regardless of the ambient light and wastes the batteries!

I have had my Phillips GC8220 Steam System Iron for almost a year now. It was brilliant for the first few months or so but I noticed that the water tank was leaking. It started as a trickle and evenually the leak soaked through a well folded towel in next to no time. In my despair I sealed all the joints with stong adhesive glue. It did the trick and I am back ironing as happily as ever. Apart from the leak it does the job of ironing really well.

and I love coffee. I must admit the first one we got didnt boil the water so went straight back with it, ive read since there has been a problem. However no complaints about this one, the first one I tried was a mugsize, I have large mugs and it fills it to the top so be careful, a normal sized mug wouldnt do. It came out boiling hot but no room for milk so sipped a bit out to fit it in, perfect, lovely tasting coffee with a frothy top. Ive only had it a week but using it twice a day at least, I now use the cup size, put the milk in the micro for 20 seconds as I prefer it that way and use a smaller mug. I do set it on a cup setting first with just water but thats because I prefer to make sure its clean [my problem] I havent tried any other makes of coffee as ... Read More:
