For the price, this is brilliant set of scales. As one of the other reviews said, no longer do you have to bend down to look at eye level - its all there in front of you.
I particularly love the setting to zero when u have a bowl on the scales - great. I would recommend these to anyone yay
Although it may be a little sad to be writing a review about a timer, you sometimes find an item which has such a good combination of features, and is such a pleasure to use, you just have to pass on the comments!
Nice size with a large clear display. Fast to set and easy to use even with 4 timers and can be used to count up as well as down. It's very easy to tell which alarm has gone off by the frequency of beeps: 1-4 times per second for timers 1-4. Buttons aren't stiff and are big and responsive. Magnet is strong on my fridge door. By the way, in response to one comment, you can set the clock at any time - it's in the instructions.
Only niggle - fitting the batteries (2 x LR44), otherwise it's a great buy

I've owned these scales for a while now. I love the sleek design and zero function !! So easy to use and appear to be very accurate. I like the fact that I can put a bowl on it, press zero, pour in my contents and it gives me my reading. If you are making a mix that requires multiple items, you could click zero again and add the next item.

I bought these scales from the recommendation on 'customer's review'
I was struggling with my old scales trying to work out the exact amount of grams which I needed to be exact as I am on a diet. They are brilliant, just put any container on the scales turn on, select preferred weighing measurement and that's about it, and comes with good guarantee. Also,if your kitchen space is limited, these are the scales for you, they are very compact, overall, a good buy and have no hesitation on recommendation.

Nice looking. However, looks are not everything. These scales go up in 2g so to obtain 15g you have to put sufficient on the scale to have it flashing between 14 & 16g. The real disapointment is that the scales are not consistant, I weighed the same item several times and found the readout different. I'm looking for another set to replace these.

Simple to use and extremely effective at sharpening all my knives - big & small blades, as well as kitchen scissors. Small enough to be stored away and portable enough not to be a hassle to use.

A great set of 'easy to use' scales. Easy to clean, accurate measures and easy storage. All I want now is to know where I can get another bowl from.

Perhaps the lack of hours is a limitation but this is a well thought out unit. It will stand on the fridge (or other metal object) using its magnet as well as on a table. The large display is clear and easy to read. Setting is simple to understand and the large buttons are good for "clumsier hands".

I bought this to replace a previous Salter timer which had mysteriously gone 'missing'. This one's very similar, except that the alarm is louder and goes on for longer. That's very useful if you happen to step away for a few minutes. Also, the previous one was only audible if I was in the same room. But this model is quite high pitched, and I can easily hear it from 2 rooms away.
If you don't always need the alarm, you can save time and just set it to run, and it will count upwards. For example, if I'm cooking something that needs 2 minutes quick frying, I just press the start button and wait for 2 minutes to pass. This is only useful if you're in the same room though, and don't need to hear the alarm.
