Looked smart & reliable, worked great, a lovely birthday present. My first ever coffee grinder and it gave me a taste for the real thing so the coffee must have been fine - but it broke down 3 months in! I didn't use it more than once or twice a week, it certainly wasn't overwork. Now have to buy another, so I guess it did some manufacturer some good by getting me hooked, but I'll never buy wahl again.

I bought this in January and although I did use it a couple of times a week, this really is not up to the job. It's now broken. In fact it broke about a month ago. I put up with the oily smell that others had commented on but thought it would go. It didn't really. This time I'm going to buy a Kenwood as this one lasted for years and never complained about the amount of mixture!
Don't buy it!!

An excellent item. Very good quality. Only gripe is that the cups are tiny (about the size of an espresso coffee cup) so you'll have to get some mugs!

This is an excellent hand mixer, but I found the stand useless. The beaters must be half an inch above the bottom of the provided mixing bowl, so the bottom of the mixture does not mix.
However, it is worth buying just for the mixer which is really good.

what a complete waste of money. I bought two of these - one for me, one for granny and can confirm it CANNOT deal with any of the following ingredients:
fresh herbs - turns to a pulp
celery - blade gets stuck
tomato pieces - even when cut up small - turns to a pulp
apple pieces - gets stuck
nuts - no way! gets stuck
bread - cannot make breadcrumbs unless bread is so stale it's gone crispy!
garlic - nope
onion - a nice array of pulp and big lumps, even when precut
So still waiting to find a food it can actually deal with.
Bought one of these in order to see if meal for family of 4 could be prepared effectively whilst out of house for 8 hours. Based on other review, handled the switch rather gingerly.. Glad to report that I had no problems and that the cooking results were excellent. My major concern was that it would cook too quickly but it did a medium sized chicken perfectly (7.5 hours). Would recommend this to anyone looking to feed family of 4 / 5. switch fine on mine!

Brought this blender as it was advertised as having ice crushing capabilities and that the jug was made from glass, perfect I thought for making cocktails.
I used this item once and the unit would only work intermittenly, and on the third time of using the motor burnt out and therefore the blender was no more.
Build quality is very basic and doesn't blend very well from the limited experience that I have.
Spend a little bit more money, if you notice on Saturday Kitchen, even James Martin himself doesn't use this despite the fact it has his name on it...
