I am just about to buy another one. My first one was left out in very cold weather and the frozen water split the plastic. Not advisable. You need a way of turning it off before you enter the garden yourself...I forgot once or twice lol. Other than that it works very very well!!!

Having seen similar things in the USA and restaurant kitchens, I thought this would be ideal to treat a moth infestation. Instead of killing them, they found it a cool place to hang out and became the hippest place to hang out if your a moth. After several weeks only one moth had been killed, but many new moths had been born after i presume one night stands after meeting at "domestic insect killer bar".
If you need a place for your moth friends to hang out it's highly recommended, if you want to kill them a rolled up paper is more effective.

I bought 1 of these repellers & like some of these reviews here, after a few days, was regretting my purchase. Had it not been for the fact my local garden centre had these on special offer I would have given up & tried something else.
But..I bought 2 more making 3 in total & also the DC transformers as each repeller takes 2x9V batteries making them expensive to run after a while. After watching where the cats entered, walked & sat in my garden, I positioned my 3 repellers to get maximum coverage. My garden is about 20ft long x 10ft wide with a few small bushes & a pond.
Well all I can say is...90% ultrasonic victory to me!! :) It is rare to see a cat in my garden now & never (touchwood) any poo. ... Read More:
