it looks ok but that's it! Has very low power suction and is not able to pick up much from a carpet. It's ok if you have a laminated floor but it is useless on carpets. I had it for a couple of months and I am not happy at all. I thought that £45 was a bargain but was actually a waste of money as I have to buy something else now. Don't buy it!!

We bought this about a year ago to replace an ageing Dyson DC05 which had done seven years' service. We'd been really happy with the Dyson but wondered if it was really worth the £200-odd that we'd need to spend to get the equivalent replacement. By way of an experiment, and seeing the mostly good reviews here and elsewhere, we thought we'd give this 'bargain' Morphy Richards a go, figuring that if it lasted more than a couple of years then it would have been money well-spent.
To begin with we were very impressed: it seemed to be easily powerful enough to deal with the cat hair (and daughter hair!) that had defeated the dying Dyson. It had more attachments than we could ever use (literally -- most ended up in a cupboard, never ... Read More:

I searched high and low and read so many reviews when trying to choose a carpet cleaner for my home. In the end I decided just to go to the local Hydro shop and choose whichever they had their. They had the Bissell Pre-Heat Allrounder on offer for £199.99, so I chose this as I thought I would benefit from it being a 2-in-1 and being in a 2 bed terrace I don't have a lot of storage space.
The vacuuming capabilities of this machine where fantastic - to start with. It really did bring up the carpets like new (on vacuum). However after a few weeks (of not using more than twice a week) the turbo brush stopped rotating. I emailed Customer Services who sent me a replacement free of charge within days. This only worked twice then also failed to ... Read More:

I bought this vacuum based on reviews I read on the internet.
The suction is good but it's just such hard work to use and is very noisy! The vacuum is very heavy and you need to be quite strong to stretch the stair hose up an average flight of stairs. I think the vacuum is good value for money and I would probably be happier if I hadn't just tried to hoover the stairs, the vacuum has fallen down 4 times (It's too big to sit on the winders!)
