This airer easily folds away when you are finished with it and does not take up much space.

We finally had to replace our 38 year old Goblin Teasmade that had been a wedding present. The first Swan broke in a few months and was replaced under guarantee. The second worked until the guarantee had expired then would only work manually. So we replaced it with a Micromark Tea Express with Alarm Clock which is super.
Apart from the unreliability, the clock & alarm times are very hard to set, the permanent light is too bright, and the device is ugly compared with the Micromark. I isn't anything like as good as the old Goblin which hadn't let us down until it finally expired after 38 years. >>More Details |

This is touch bin version 2! They have changed the locking mechanism so it's easier to clean, and now you get side ears and a base that I don't have on my old one that's now two years old.

Two years ago my 20 odd year old Rowenta steam iron gave in. Obviously not built to last ! Since then I have been trying to find a steam iron just as good and have failed miserably until now. I have been through 6 irons in two years so you will appreciate my joy when this product arrived today and I used it for the first time. Easy to set up, use and irons like a dream. Constant flow of steam if required which tackled my most difficuly items with ease. Although the iron itself is light, the steam flow more than compensates with a terrific finish. Hope it continues as long as the old one. Oh, and it is red and white, the colours of my favourite football team of 50 years, Sheffield United, so all in all a good days work. Sounds a good idea, but turns out rather gimmicky. The water release button need quite heavy pressure and my partner who is quite elderly has difficulty applying enough pressure. It is also difficult to see the level in the boiling compartment. One is also, on average, handling and pouring from a heavier kettle than when using a partly filled conventional electric kettle. I bought it because I needed a new kettle. If you don't my advice is to stick with the conventional type and use a cup to measure the water.
