This is a really excellent product. I've used many heaters, but none of them up to this standard - even one that I bought for £59.99 just 6 months ago.
There are 6 heat settings, ranging from 1 (a slight heat) to 6 (a blazing inferno). Number 3, I find is the most comfortable and natural. Upon switching it on, you'll notice that the product makes a slight buzz. It's certainly not excessive, and doesn't disrupt listening to TV at a normal volume. The heater warms up a small/medium sized room very quickly - within around 5 minutes usually. Whilst the recipes look good and nutritious, I was very disappointed with the format of the book as it looks like something someone cooked (pardon the pun!) up at home with microsoft publisher and not very well at that. Very cheap looking, and I think wasn't at all worth it.
I haven't tried any of the recipes as yet and they do look good and the instructions are very easy to follow, but there are probably more credible decent looking cook-books you could get for a couple of pounds extra. >>More Details |

Normally I tend to confine my reviews to items of the literary kind, but as I can't really be bothered with another book review at the moment (and because I bought this grill from Amazon recently) I thought I'd turn my critical eye on the Big George.
This is my first real experience with health grills, and overall I'd have to say I'm quite impressed. The grilling area heats up quickly and is big enough to fit plenty of burgers on, making it a handy backup if you've invited all your friends over for a BBQ but the weather isn't cooperating. The unit feels solid and durable, though the temperature control seems unusually delicate, as if it doesn't really do anything. We bought one of these because our matress was showing it's age (although it's only five years old!).
Now it's like a new bed! It's wonderful and so comfy and severely reduces movement in the bed when one or the other moves (assuming two in the bed). Which is a positive! It does take a little getting used to... but it's very comfortable, and seems to hold the warmth too. You have to get one! Stick with superior products though! >>More Details |

Yes it's not particularly high tech nor will it win any design awards and the build quality is not up to ipod standards but, and this is important! it wakes you up with a freshly made pot (HOT) of tea for 2. OK, the rocker switches are a little dated, the clock is a little "agricultural" for my liking and it's only a slightly less than 12 hour timer (how long do you sleep for anyway?) but it's a teasmade - it makes tea. I suppose they could have added a digital clock, WiFi, internet radio, D.A.B., bluetooth and god knows what else but it wouldn't make it do the job any better. As for a kettle and timer, good luck with that, it's certainly cheaper but somewhat less convienient (or safe for that matter) and then you have still got to pour the water into a pot which is ...
