Bought this after reading the other good reviews. I have Porsche type 301 knives which I had let get far too blunt. The instructions on the product say that 20 passes of the blade on each stone should do but with my knives it was more like 200. Now this could be because I had let my knives get too blunt or because my knives don't sharpen as well as Globals. Nevertheless I persevered and they are all razor sharp now. Excellent product.

Bought this despite the "nay sayers" in Amazon reviews. OMRON have a great reputation in general: this machine will be accredited as accurate (which is, after all, fairly important!) by the british heart society.
The price I paid is half what it would have been in the High Street: the handbook is very thick but is easy to follow. I've normal arms: the cuff fits me and isn't uncomfortable (at least, no more uncomfortable than any other machine that's measured my blood pressure!). The machine can store measurements for two users (84 of them), plus it has a "guest" function for anyone else. Ok bags, mine seem to inflate after a while. Quick delivery but not very helpful customer service. Be aware there are A LOT of bags and some are very large.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and am not impressed. It replaces a 6 year old Dyson and does not perform anywhere near as well. It is so badly made when I was assembling it one of the plastic accessory holders broke off. It is also quite heavy to carry about & is not adept at picking up bits, it pushes them about the floor and leaves them behind when you change direction. It works moderately well on carpet but is pathetic on solid floors. Altogether a very disappointing purchase.

I bought this blender elsewhere, but feel obliged to share the review as i am still looking for a hand blender.
The chopping attachments are excellent and the variable speeds give good versatality with different ingredients. The blender shaft is efficient and expeditiously blends foods smooth. I used and placed my blender shaft in the dishwasher twice and found that the plastic part came away. The blender shaft has a black insert which is glued to the stainless steel exterior. While I was trying to fit it the stainless steel edge cut my hand. I returned it for a full refund, and it was reported to Philips.
