Just got one of these - a great device, accurate thermometer etc but has the same annoying thing as the rest of the Oregon range: they assume people in the UK don't understand the 24 hour clock so they don't give you the option to change between 12 and 24 hour format - just 12 hour which is pretty annoying!

This cake slice is FAB
I bought one for my daughter's 3rd birthday and the kids loved it. I then used it at my father's 70th this summer, and what do you know? several friends loved it so much that my christmas present list is dead easy this year - musical cake slices all round! The only drawback is that it plays happy birthday a bit too fast near the end - but who cares - it's still a giggle! As for anyone who thinks it is "hateful" - I'm surprised that a cake slice can elicit that much negative emotion... thumbs up to the creators! >>More Details |

I was a little unsure whether to buy this kettle after reading some of the negative reviews, but took the plunge and I have to say, this is the best kettle I have had so far.
The kettle boils much faster than a conventional kettle therefore saving on electricity. It looks good on the design and is easy to operate, although I would like to point out that if you have difficulties using your hands or are elderly then you may have problems pressing the button at the top of the kettle as in my opinion it is quite hard to plunge and twist to fill the kettle to the top. So I was looking at cookie makers because I am bored and have time, the other two on the site use batteries. One got slated in the reviews, the other was pretty good, this one had no reviews. Now I don't really like battery powered goods... and this one seemed pretty functional. Doubles as an icing gun which you can buy for a lot cheaper anyway. But given the gadget status my expectations weren't high - it's a novelty item for bored people. Perfect. So unlike some people who might think the plunger will be a perfect fit and a feat of engineering, I put the dough in a bag and then inside the tube. Less cleaning.

This Kettle is well worth Purchasing, a little bit more expencive than ordenry Kettles, but is worth it your hot drinks tast much better and the lights on the kettle look well cool, and a keep warm button enables you to make hot drinks without having to reboil the keetle and wiil keep the water hot for several hours. I have had no problems at all with this and am very pleased with it. The only problem is the Britta cartidges you need fot the kettle can work out a little expencive, concidering you have to change it every 4 weeks. >>More Details |

Chose this Kettle as we had researched many makes, models and designs and it suited our taste and decor, however after obtaining a bargain with both this Kettle and the matching toaster, we were disappointed to find that after one week the side window (displaying the water level and green light) leaked, covering the work surface with water. We obtained a replacement without problem from the retailer we purchased it from, however in a little over a fortnight the 2nd one leaked from the same place. It could just be a faulty batch or bad luck, but incase it's a design flaw we decided to opt for an alternative in the Prestige Deco range. Shame though.

We bought this for our 2 year old son as soon as we moved him from a cot into a bed and he decided he would get up as soon as it was light! Another parent recommended the Bunny Clock and for us it works. Although our son will still wake before the alarm, he understands that if Bunny's still sleeping, he should be too!
The alarm "hand" is not particularly accurate and the whole thing feels a bit unsophisticated, but, we don't care - it has meant we get on average an extra hour sleep per night and that's worth much more than a more fancy clock!!!
