To me this set of eleven songs seems like This Is The Life - a deserving worldwide hit, with six million YouTube views at the time of writing - and ten charming variations. Collectively, they just about pull their weight, and occasionally get close to genius (e.g. 'Poison Prince', in my humble opinion). I very much hope we will see one or two more big ideas in the second album.

I first heard Amy on 'This Morning' and was really surprised, after hearing her speak, how she sung. Assertive, slight country and a bit of Scottish! Truly amasing. Lovely person, unique voice and unique tune. In astonishment I woke up a couple of days after (only heard Amy once) with Amy's song going round in my head ... I think that's a first!
My preferences are 'The Cranberries' and 'The Beautiful South'. I now have 'Amy MacDonald. Very best of luck Amy. >>More Details |

I first heard Amy on 'This Morning' and was really surprised, after hearing her speak, how she sung. Assertive, slight country and a bit of Scottish! Truly amasing.
