There's alot of reviews on Amazon that I think are just completely pointless, I'm not saying that someone has to totally agree with what I think over someone's album, even when someone gives an album a really good review it can different because we all interpret music in different ways. I wish Amazon would delete the pointless reviews that don't mention the actual album in any way at all.
I think there are some brilliant albums that have been released but there aren't alot of albums that are exceptionally brilliant, "No Angel" by Dido is definitely an exceptionally brilliant album, she has completely got her own style going on, first of all I'll talk about her voice, there are so many artists with amazing voices, whether it's powerful ... In this song Dido proves that she's no angel after all. Great pop song with funk and blues elements about woman who's not ready for comintment and who's not ready for real love. This song is different than her previous work. It seems like a very personal song. You can clearly hear that Dido's now more mature in every sense.

White flag is Dido's first single taken from Life For Rent. 1. White Flag - It's a splendid love song. It talks about loving someone and being afraid to tell them so, because it can mess things up. "I know you think that I shouldn't stil love you or tell you that. But if I didn't say it, well I'd still have felt it, where's the sense in that?"..."I'm in love and always will be"... White Flag is powerful yet remains simple and pure at the same time. Quite easy to relate to. 2. Paris - a B-side is a folkish song which showcases Dido's voice in all its beauty. With only the guitar and strings, Paris sounds almost like an acapella. Some may find it boring because of that, well, I don't. I think that's what makes this song different and beautiful. Amazon say this is 1st review! Well Dido puts together a melange of words and emotions and finely simmered in production to produce a dish Michelin chef would be proud of.
Like Prince, most songs are asexual (sung be either sex) so increase the appeal. The songs will guarantee to touch a nerve somewhere so either laugh or cry, be inspired by a feeling inside yourself or just dance while nobody is watching! Toni p.s.
