Like every other NOW CD, all the good songs are put onto the first CD and this not unlike any other. With the exceptions of coldplay, The Ting Tings etc CD 1 is mostly the reason to buy this. CD 2 has just a few good songs on it and the rest are those that didn't come anywhere close to the top ten in the charts. Worth buying for the first CD

Having being pretty blown away by Beautiful World, I was wondering if Take That could top it.
When I heard Greatest Day, the first single to be taken from this new album, I have to say I had my doubts. Having now listened to the album as a whole, it still wouldn't be my choice for the first single but it does fit into the mix of styles showcased here.
Lead vocal duties have been dished out much more here than on any previous Take That release. Gary Barlow, surely one of the best British songwriters of his generation, has allowed his fellow band members to take centre stage here, only singing the lead on a handful of tracks. Jason Orange follows up his folky vocal ... Read More:

the music great especially when the first time you see the film.
ive been able to relate to the films from the beginning but this one is by far the most emotional. the music puts across so many feelings that made me cry 4times throughout.
buy the CD after youve watched the film or you wont get the entire impact of the music.

other people have mentioned strangely missing 'greatest hits' tracks. but what about "Since I told you it's over" - heart-wrenching uber-pop somehow ended on the cutting room floor. Odd to say the least.

The choice of programme was excellent. The voices of the three Priests, although, I think, untrained, were brilliant. What ruined this for me was the constant background of the Vatican Choir (the heavenly chorus). To my mind they added nothing, in fact, in some songs, they out-sang the three priests and, again, to my mind, they ruined the songs. Listen to any other "cross-over" band, in particular, Il Divo, Amici Forever, etc, - no "heavenly chorus" in sight. The Priests can stand alone so why don't they? The Vatican Choir did not help them. As a matter of interest, as they are Priests, are the proceeds of the sale of this CD going to them, the Catholic Church or some very deserving charity? Hope to a charity and hope that this will be mentioned ... Read More:

Loved her previous albums but I'm finding this one a bit of a drudge - its hard to determine when one track ends and another starts and its just miserable listening to it BORING

I am a platinum member of their website. I have all their albums, dvds and have seen them live 5 times. I WAS almost obsessed - Siempre toned it down a bit but The Promise has all but killed it.
Whoever did the mixing likes the sound of a loud, no - very loud baritone. Carlos all but drowns out the other 3 on nearly every track at the crescendos. David, Seb & Urs all have wonderful voices but you can't hear them!! I am seeing them in February, but I have to say I'm not looking forward to it as much as I was. A very formatted album - sorry guys, but not my cup of tea.

I don't have any music by Seal, probably because I can't afford music (i.e. CD's) on a regular pattern and I listen to the radio regularly and my partner has his own music website so I can listen to good music easily.
I really love Seal's voice and he has produced some good hits so I am going to go for it and buy myself a xmas pressie.
With The Now series you know what you are going to get, a collection of great and not so great pop tunes which have graced the charts, in this case over the last 25 years. Now 25 years is a collection 60 tunes over 3 CD's which have done exactly that. Can you have a favourite yes, are you going to like everything probably not but pop fans can buy knowing that this is going to offer variety and top ten tunes for every occasion.
