I didn't buy this album because it would have been pointless, i already own all of the songs from buying the last greatest hits album. Of course there's no denying that the vocals are astounding, but this wouldn't change no matter how many collections she brought out. I believe this album is the best choice for anyone who is just getting introduced to Whitney Houston, as it only contains the main songs that she's known for full stop, there are certainly no fillers or remixes it's just the very best of Whitney, but for fans such as me, who've followed her though each album from beginning to end are yearning for some new material, and are getting very board with collection after collection.

If you're a Josh Groban fan you will love it, if you'r new to Josh Groban you're in for a treat. 'You're still you' and 'to where you are' move me to tears every time I listen to them. I could listen to his voice all day (and usually do).

this was a big favourite of mine, growing up in the 80's and early 90's. this album is by far the best reggae collection of ub40's. i also bought the ub40 dvd which has a few others which do not feature on the collection. if you want relaxing, soul trippin music this summer, then i suggest this album. totally superb.
this is a must for anyone who not only likes ub40 but enjoyed the 80's and its music.

GYBR is usually referred to as a classic album and routinely appears on "Greatest Albums Of All Time" lists. The truth is, it is a terrible album that happens to contain a few classic `70s Pop tunes - namely, the title track, "Candle In The Wind", "Harmony" and "Roy Rogers". There are a couple of half-decent album fillers - the melodic "Sweet Painted Lady" and the rather overblown "I've Seen That Movie Too" - but the rest of the album is abysmal: the falsetto caterwauling of "Bennie And The Jets", the annoying lilt of "Danny Bailey", the horrid `50s pastiche of "Your Sister Can't Twist". Some of the other tracks are actually rather unpleasant and leave a bad taste in the mouth. What is more, the album is very poorly produced. A case in point is "Saturday Night's ... Read More:

I saw this and already have it but I just wanted to say that out of all the artists that have released their Christmas album - this one by Lady Mariah Carey is the BEST to date. Also, because it's 14 years old it's really cheap. So - buy the BEST Christmas album as the bargain of the century.

We can see from this picture that Will is severley depressed out about his extremely mis-shapen skull, clearly this is the reason why he would be better keeping a low profile. Well, that and the thing about the level of his musical integrity, hmm, that one is quite important.

An essential compilation of some of Sade's best work. Truly every music lover NEEDS a copy of this in their collection! Sade just oozes raw sensuality, emotion, smokey richness and passion. These songs are great to chill, relax and unwind to. Enchanting, hypnotic, sultry and sexy! This really is music for the soul. This CD is a great way to get a taster of the magic that is Sade without having to spend a lot of money buying all the albums. 5/5 ~ Claire Elise Archibald. xxx

This is Streisand's masterpiece. No question. Written and produced by Barry Gibb this is a record full of beautifully crafted and arranged love songs and ballads. Babs penchant for big show tunes is kept in check and her pop vocal performances throughout are exceptional. Woman In Love was a UK number 1 but is in no way the strongest track here. Guilty, The Love Inside and My Life Story are gorgeous songs that sound as great today as they did nearly 30 years ago !
It's all about the voice and on Guilty she reached her zenith. The rest of the 80's and 90's would see Streisand record endless covers versions & show songs, perform the odd concert, take a few minor film roles and generally coast quietly into old age.
Watch out for Guilty Too though - its a poor and belated follow ... Read More:
