This is a bloody disappointing album. I bought this thinking it was going to capture the full on raw power of AC/DC but it totally fails.
The biggest problem is that unlike the majority of live albums that are edited to flow like a proper gig, this mess sees each track fade in and out so that the energy and excitement one expects never materialises. It simply fails to gel at all and just becomes totally boring. Why was this done? It is for radio idiot DJ's who are incapable of cueing up a track? Oh yes, and Brian Johnson can't sing either. A truly horrible experience. Stick to "If You Want Blood...".

In my opinion And Justice For All is the album where Metallica shifted direction into what can best be described as hard progressive rock. If you want to enjoy the best of the band buy the first three albums, after that the song writing and music gets a little tedious and long-gone are the great riffs and tight songs of the earlier material. It's not that bad an effort, but really only an essential purchase for hardcore fans.

Well this is my first review on anything,so it must count for something.
I got this last week and must off played it at least 6 times in the car.
It's a joy to drive !
Thank you Classic FM for introducing me to this excellent album, and thank you to the honest reviews from the customers who had the sense to buy it.
The tunes are all different, not as some say the same, they grow on you.
A tune has been going through my head all afternoon and is as I type!
I'm not complaining.
The only problem I have now is deciding what to get next.

I bought this album as a teenager in the 70's and never felt it was one of zeps greatest albums compared to Physical Graffiti and vol4 so unfortunately it was the last of the remasters that I bought. Having listened to it a couple of times it has quickly become one of my favourates. Its understated beauty really hit me and touched me particularly "tangerine" and the really beautiful "thats the way". Pity the packaging doesnt reflect the curiosity of the original LP cover. Buy it and enjoy!

Yep, Aerosmith have released many many greatest hits albums. I think this one has the best mixture of tracks of the lot though, a range of all their hits starting from way back. Some fantastic songs.
Highly recommended if you've only heard a limited amount of Aerosmith music, as it'll give you the pick of the best of the rest, and you may well decide to look into their more obscure stuff.

This is the compilation which defines the most criminally overlooked rock band in history. One of the greatest songwriters of the late 20th century, backed up by a troop of amazing guitarists, with Gorham, Robertson and Moore blasting out riffs and, more importantly, some of the greatest guitar solos ever throughout each song on this compilation. This band is a monolith of rock music and thankfully this compilation shows this very well.
my only quibble is that perhaps this shouldve been called 'the very best of' or something like that. In that case southbound and massacre couldve been added too, as well as the rest of the black rose album. The packaging is great also, as well as the music, and the story of lizzy is presented inside along with ... Read More:

After hearing Razorlights 2nd record and enjoying it at the time. I decided to buy this debut offering, and after hearing this record i decided to listen to razorlight again and i found out that it actually isn't that good, Johnny Borrell's lyrics are heavily influenced by Pete Doherty and Carl Barat formely of The Libertines. Unlike 2006's Razorlight which is trying to be a album with a U2 epic scope, but this album is trying and succeds to be a album full of Libertines influnced tunes about London nights and romance. The first Track Leave Me Alone isn't the greatest opening to an album, although it is catchy enough to be a decent opening to the album. Rock N Roll Lies was the first single Razorlight did and is a great first single that should have got higher ... Read More:

About a month ago I stumbled across "Extreme" after watching a Youtube video featuring "Lil Jack Horny" as background music. After that, I done some more digging & bought their entire collection of CDs...
These guys are just awesome and I really wish I'd heard their music sooner.
"Saudades De Rock" is a terrific album and is even better when the volume is cranked up real loud. It has echos of "Pornograffiti" in some songs but, it's got a sound all of it's own when you listen more closely. To be completely honest here...it did take me a few listening sessions to really get into it but once I did...I was blown away by the opener "Star"!
This album has a wonderful mix of head-banging metal riffs, funk & melodic drums. It's a combination ... Read More:
