This album is great fun from beginning to end. A lighthearted beat infused concoction this album is always entertaining and never dull. Even the cheesy cookery analogy doesn't tire and adds a bizarre kind of depth to this funky and upbeat album.
The guest vocalists add a dash of pedigree to the catchy tunes and while it is not going to be heralded as groundbreaking it is a cracking album that will never fail to add cheer to your day. There are no low points with this record and I would advise it as a fail safe record for those people wishing to dabble in the murky waters of the hip hop world. As a michael fan i own all of his records and then some. however i wouldn't suggest to really buy this album and i haven't either. It's just the first cd of his huge history album. My advice would be to buy that instead, because you not only get all of the songs on this album but it comes with an album of (what was) new material, and in my opinion is a lot better value. However if the only songs of michaels are the ones on this album that you like then buy this. but value for money history is better >>More Details |

The album is good, I agree. The songs with 50 cent are very good. What annoys me though, is how many times The Game says "Dre" in The Documentary (37 times!!!). No offence to Dre but I think Game wants to bum him...

well what to say about this cd?
when i first got this cd i had only heard the song angelica before which i absolutely loved so much it made me buy the greatest hits. when i first bought this album it took some listening to to get used to, but my god now it is one of my favourite cds, i can listen to this cd again and again. all the songs are so different in pace and melody, some songs been just in a state of pure idilic ecstacy while others have eclectic beats to rock youre socks off mostly having the very haunting vocals of the female singer, and ill tell you now her vocals are soomething else, very nice to listen to. so without further ado get this cd!!! if you havent heard much of lamb before then this is the perfect starting ... As a lover of Tribe for many years now I was really psyched that Q-Tip came out with a solo LP..
It starts brilliantly with track 2 Higher A nice beat and the chorus, the percussion is amazing and great production.. The singles off the album are great party songs with Breathe N Stop + Vivrant Thing but my highlights are the last 3 tracks, one of which is with Busta rhymes called NT, great beat and the chorus from busta is sick! After that you have a track with KoRn called 'End Of Time' which is my favourate apart from the hidden track (shown on amazon as track 13) a great track just like a biography and message behind his lyrics which i find inspiring..
