A good album to have on in the background and listen to, and all songs are very good, however, they aren't as good a standard as Lemars other work on his albums.
Like all of lemars CD's, the sonmgs are good pop songs with good lyrics, excellent vocals and great backing, but none have the lasting power of his other albums!
A good album and reccomended, but get Lemars other 2 albums before this.
Although Soulman and the cover of 'that Darkness song' are both excellent!

One of the first "real" hip hop albums I listened to and it continues to sound fresh after all these years. They took everything great about their debut and maximised it; throwing in experimental touches and a subtle use of live instrumentation into the mix, creating what is, in my humble opinion, the greatest jazz-rap album we'll ever hear. Q-Tip and Phife aren't the greatest rappers, but they sound so suitably relaxed and eloquent over the beats that it's easy to understand their lofty status in the world of hip hop. Everything works on The Low End Theory and there's never been a more perfectly suitable closer than "Scenario", the greatest posse cut of all time. Has Busta ever sounded more crazy than when he's roooaaaarrring like a dungeon ... Read More:

This really is a great greatest hits album, the old schoolstyle of rapping used here is really effective to the great beats.
Frequent use of the words ' sucker mc' shows the old skool style.
This is better than a lot of the new skool playas and hip hop legends like these will help save the game.
Tracks like public enemy no.1 show chucky d's great style of rapping, and you really have to get this.

Having loved the album Silent Shout i thought i would give this a try. The difference between Deep Cuts and Silent Shout is night and day. Silent Shout was much more darker and yet Deep Cuts is lighter and much more upbeat. Some of the songs are hit and miss. For me Heartbeats,Take my Breath away and Is it Medicine are best, with The Cop and Hanging out being complete turnoffs. In my opinion Deep Cuts isn't as good as Silent Shout but still worth buying.

My opinion is that this album is a classic. Commercial yes, lacking the real depth of Me Against the World & Makaveli yes also. But classic none the less. Songs like 'Ambitionz Az A Ridah', 'Only God Can Judge Me', 'I Ain't Mad At Cha', 'Can't C Me', 'Holla at Me' & 'Picture Me Rolling' are defining moments for the genre and are of the caliber that you rarely hear in todays rap. There's awful songs too 'Check Out Time', 'Whats your Phone #' & 'Thug Passion' but overall a v nice album that no rap fan should be without.

Me being an avid wrestling fan (more specifically, a fan of WWF/E), I've naturally developed a great love and appreciation for several music CDs, containing so many wrestlers' entrance themes. The WWF/E's resident music composer, Jim Johnston, has produced really great pieces of music over the years for all the top superstars and it's only fitting for his music to be released on soundtracks.
The best of these have been WWF: Full Metal - the Album, WWF: The Music vols. 2, 3, 4 and 5, WWF: Forceable Entry, WWE: The Music vol. 6, WWE: Wreckless Intent and of course, the masterpiece known as WWE: Anthology. So for the next soundtrack, one would expect the same continuation of that greatness, right? Sadly, this latest release is quite the fall ... Read More:
