This really is a great greatest hits album, the old schoolstyle of rapping used here is really effective to the great beats.
Frequent use of the words ' sucker mc' shows the old skool style.
This is better than a lot of the new skool playas and hip hop legends like these will help save the game.
Tracks like public enemy no.1 show chucky d's great style of rapping, and you really have to get this.

I used to be into my G*A back when the Vertigo album came out, but then moved on to the Goodbye Country.
Vertigo is a classic album in my mind now, goodbye Country only an average album so went off G*A.
But, when I got the Soundboy Rock album, it re-kindled my love of the groove (even though they have totally moved on from the other albums).
If you like one song off this album, but are not sure about the album, buy it. You won't be disappointed!

Being a HUGE G-unit fan i thought i'd write a review.
This is a strong hard album, highlights include -track no 2,piano man,50's moving keys!! good vocals from Yayo, slick and smooth. Also Rider pt 2,is excellent, including vocals from the now (dearly missed) Young buck. Also track 6,you so tough is great.
Basicly if you liked beg for mercy you'll enjoy this.Is it as good as that album?,well thats a toughy, cos every track on beg was sick,if i had to choose it'd prolly be beg for mercy that came out on top.But this is stil defo worth a purchase.
There's something about Alabama 3 which reminds me of Fun Lovin Criminals, the sound they are creating is not necesserily from an authentic source. The criminals played upon non existent mafia links, Alabama 3 does american dark blues, country wrapped in a technoish sandwich, they just happen to be from Brixton, London. Does that matter, not really, it's created with theatricality, humour, knowing the genre inside out, it's hard to deny that with all the records they have put out, there is no loss of outlaw fun.

This review is for the original electronic release, not the rock version.
I remember when this album came out back in 2001, I wasn't feeling The Neptunes at the time. I was mostly into underground hip-hop so listening to this type of stuff was considered kinda poppish. But as the years passed by, my listening taste has grown and I decided to give The Neptunes a true listen because the music nowadays have no creativity whatsoever. So stuff that I didn't like back then has now become gold. This is the masterpiece I missed out on. Upon hearing the massive hits Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo have created for music superstars Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and others, you become drowned in their own flavor of music production, really spaced ... I first heard the song Wish on Tony Hawks 3 and i knew i had to have the song and the album. I soon got the album and i havnt been able to stop listening to it since.
All the songs are in my opinoin fantastic, they are all powerful and sung with lots of emotion and vigour. Im a fan of rock music and this album has loud and strong metal chords in spades!
The songs like Flesh and Bone, Summer and Stranded are superb, there are also some hits like Smooth Criminal and Movies which you may have heard of already.
This album is a must have for anyone in posession of a CD player and a good pair of ears. It is one of my all time favourite CDs and is one i can just sit and listen to all the way through. anyone who is interested in metal music ... Read More:

I can't understand why people listen to this! Is it cool? Does it make you feel like a tough guy? truth is my gangsta wannabes, your not gangstaz or thugs, and neither was Tupac. He preached violence and murder so that people became afraid, which is basically being a coward.
Thank God he can't release any more trash like this. Wannabe thug shizzle. And that goes for 50 cent, snoop and all the other posers out there. They aint gangsta. Take them to live with the italian or russian mafia. Thats gangsta.
I've heard a lot about 'production' and how lyrics being negative doesn't matter but this LP proves how good the original ideas behind hip-hop still are and also that you don't need to rhyme negatively to be relevant. This is all about fitting each beat with each word, still not having to be too serious about yourself and just loving the sounds which we can create and doing it all for the enjoyment, the idea behind hip-hop for me.
