well what to say about this cd?
when i first got this cd i had only heard the song angelica before which i absolutely loved so much it made me buy the greatest hits.
when i first bought this album it took some listening to to get used to, but my god now it is one of my favourite cds, i can listen to this cd again and again. all the songs are so different in pace and melody, some songs been just in a state of pure idilic ecstacy while others have eclectic beats to rock youre socks off mostly having the very haunting vocals of the female singer, and ill tell you now her vocals are soomething else, very nice to listen to.
so without further ado get this cd!!! if you havent heard much of lamb before then this is the perfect ... Read More:

For all Herbaliser fans out there this is a must. For all non Herbaliser fans who like funny, thoughtful diverse and just plain enjoyable beats this one is also for you. Herbaliser takes you on a fun ride that doesn't tire and has enough uplifting material to put a smile on your face in these times of mass media misery. This is the pill that will make you happy, so put down the valium and put this on instead. If only the NHS prescribed these kind of albums I swear there would be less problems out there! Put it in your basket and set the stereo to 11.

09 has been quiet a good year for hip hop(NAS/GAME/CUBE/WAYNE and more but its been a bit of a letdown in that we aint got NO Dre,EM or Raekwon which were all ment to come out in 09,however we have got Luda back to his best, luda is by far one of the best lyricess in the game and this is easily his best work, great prodution, great guests, and great lyrics as always plus properly the best track of the year and maybe even resent times in(I do it for Hip Hop)but take my word for it theres not one bad track on here its a true gem, love it.

Ive already heard this as I'm a journalist and was sent a watermarked version. Its an album featuring the best of Britsh music with Ronson, Hot Chip, Kano, High Contrast and Scorcher all making an appearence in some form. Rolex and new track Cash In My Pocket are the stand out tracks but have a listen to We Are The Sea (which is taken from that Smirnoff advert) and Step By Step featuring Hot Chip. This is why people say that Wileys a genius. Point proven.

I'd only heard the odd track by Warp's new prodigy Flying Lotus from what i presume were his previous releases, and they gave me the impression that this was an artist with an idea on how to take glitch-hop and turn it into his own 'thing', but didn't have the focus to push it through.
How this album proved me wrong. On reading a couple of positive reviews comparing his to prefuse 73, who is a personal favourite, and claiming that he was 'inspiring a new generation of warp-heads', i bought the album and am thoroughly gratefully i did.
The mix of inventive percussion, skipping glitchy beats, synth patterns, and hints of vocals really comes together, and is bound together by some really slick and beautiful production, which elevates ... Read More:

I agree with most of the reviewers comments - dark, smokey, jass/fusion etc. etc. I would suggest that anyone who enjoys works from early Soft Machine (first to fifth), Ian Carr's Nucleus, Isotope to Angelo Badalamenti's Fire Walk With Me should give this album a listen.

Excellent compilation of Craig Armstrongs film music. Armstrong truly is a rare talent in film music scoring - these days, each composer whose name you might recognise has their own tricks that crop up time and again. Hans Zimmer has the 'soulful voice as instrument and Wagnerian epic themes', Jerry Goldsmith has the 'lush string sound with simple effective meolodies', Vangelis has the epic soaring themes market cornered... But Craig Armstrong truly uses a large repertoire of tools to achieve whatever is needed for a certain film. This album contains romantic soft melodies gently played (Love Actually Glasgow Love theme), Driving modern dance style beats ('Ball' from Plunckett and Maclean), epic Carl Orff style choir and ...
