This is still a good compilation of carols however a number are variations of the most recignised version. Hence, some of them I didn't recognise even though I'd heard the original carol before! Having said that, this shouldn't put you off as it's always good to have a change!

I love this soundtrack, even though I am yet to see the film (bring on 19th December!). Its a great mix of music, and gives you a good feeling about the film. Rob Pattinson's singing voice is a bit of a surprise, but his song is definitely a gorgeous one. Only downside of this soundtrack is the fact that there's only one Muse song on it grrr... Everyone who's read the book knows Stephenie Meyer adores Muse and they provided her soundtrack for writing the saga. Oh well, maybe on the next film :o)

I first heard the song Case of You in the film Practical Magic and thought how wonderful it was. I bought the film soundtrack (the whole music selection for the film was pretty good) and then i bought the album Blue to see what the rest of Jonis work was like.
I fell in love with the album so completely, that now i've moved to MP3 and sold 99% of my CD's i can't bear to part with this one. One of the others is Court & Spark. The music is so simple, the strings, drums, and her voice- the most wonderful voice i have ever heard, conveying such emotion that the music and words combined make the whole album an amazing rollercoaster of feelings and thoughts. I had the tape of this and loaned it to a woman I worked with, she was then suspended from work and in the interim I left my job to go to another one. In short, I would like it back, so if you are reading this (you know who you are!) can you find some way of getting it back to me? I could just buy a replacement couldn't I? Maybe I will. Anyway, this is more good '...Clue', some hilarious moments, particularly on the anniversary show with Stephen Fry (sound charades is among many funny moments). Clue fans will know what to expect and will not be disappointed. Yep. Track 21 (The World is Not Enough) is performed by someone called Garbage and talk about living up to one's name... How did someone who has no voice wind up singing a Bond song? *shakes head in disbelief* Actually, after kd lang's sublime performance of Surrender, the rest of the CD is not worth listening to. Before that, however, it's a lovely trip down memory lane listening to good sings sung by singers who can, well, sing.....

..is the only word for this album. I have never heard such a pure voice - you may have heard the songs before but you have never heard them sung like this. Eva's voice was unique - how very sad that the only video in existence of her singing is some amatuer footage taken at Blues Alley - where some of these tracks were recorded. If you can listen to "Autumn Leaves" without a lump in your throat - then you have no soul my friend.

What a total load of rubbish! the songs are neither good, polished or suit Madonna's voice at all. Such a shame! as Confessions was such a brilliant album, to be followed up by this! All the songs sound exactly the same (except the only 2 passable singles that she has released already) I cant belive she is actually touring and promoting this trash! I think the days of timberland and timberlake trying to help the aged is over! Please no more! Madonna needs to get back to her roots and come up with a stylish pop vibe, thats what she is, The Queen of Pop, not the Dowager Queen of dross! I feel I have wasted my money. Dont buy unless you can convince yourself you will like anything she will put out!

Well, I was there at the gig in MK and it was amazing, so have been waiting AGES for this to come out, and it finally came today :)
When the DVD started up, the audio was a bit distorted, but I changed the settings and it was fine until half way through, when it went off again, but then was ok!! Will give it another run to and check settings to see that it's not a problem with the disc! Be interesting to see if anyone else's does this?!! Well, to the content, wow....brought all the memories flooding back. We were at the bottom of the grass bank at the back, slightly to the left, so was cool to see some footage on the stage close up, and also out over the arena that we couldn't see from that far back. This album is twice as good as his previous effort and I have therefore given it two stars. His voice is still annoying though. Maybe someone should suggest to him (nicely) he does an instrumental album. Yikes..
