As you can see most of the songs i like apart from that's what it does. I do really like this album but it is missing a certain something. I can't wait 4 his new album year of the gentleman,i think this album is going to be his best yet. I also felt the same with rihanna's albums, her first album was great but her second one wasn't as good, but her third one was her best. I still feel you need this album in your record collection.

I only recently got into WT after seeing them support Iron Maiden at Twickenham and this was the first album I bought. It is quite simply brilliant. Comparisoms with Evenescence are unwarrented as WT are in a different league. This album is an excellent place to start but the earlier ones are brilliant as well (especially Mother Earth). the music also transcends the generations as all my 3 teenage boys have become WT fans as well has many of their freinds at school. Buy this album if you have any interest in melodic rock - you won't be disappointed.

As my friend says "You've got all these tracks but in a different order".
In this case it's only partly right but to a 60's Soul fan and a regular at the Hammersmith Palais on a Monday night this collection brings back some fabulous memories. I think that they are nearly all there.
Also memories of Ready Steady Go on a Friday night which had the catchphrase "The weekend starts here".

I have been a joe Fan since the first album. I would say that this is the best album since My Name Is Joe. Joe has upped his game and I am happy that he has lefted Sony and jive records so he can produce album like this one. Joe needs to improve his marketing outside the US inorder to gain a number 1 hit record. That is how Ne-yo, Usher, Chris Brown and etc. Joe Is one of the Best R&B singers and this album shows that with songs it new man, by any means. Buy this album

Although not as widely popular in the U.S. as in England, 5 Star managed to score several hits. Most U.S. audiences first became aware of them from "All Fall Down", which hit the R&B and dance charts. "Can't Wait Another Minute" and "If I Say Yes" are prime examples of Brit-Pop at it's finest. Why they never became super huge here is still a mystery.

it wasn't until Disturbia and Take A Bow that i became a fan of this smashing R n B star....and i saw this album for a great pice and i got it.
Umbrella was an awesome lead single but it didn't persuade me to buy the album the first time round.
but now this release was out...i had to get it....and my gosh is it an amazing album.
it's the equivalent of Michael Jacksons' THRILLER album...amazing stuff.
Madonna did it with Like A Prayer....now Rihanna the r n b equivalent has done it...and made it entirely personal and extremely enjoyable.
while Britney Spears CIRCUS is gonna knock it off the top spot as the album of 2008(i'm sure it may do so as Womanizer is spectacular)...for now Good Girl Gone Bad is definately the album of the year ... Read More:

The song Flashdance is of course part of musical history now, so of course you want it...is the album from which it came a gold-mine of similar hits...? Well, nearly. There are some great songs here, in fact I'd buy the album alone for the two very strange tracks "He's A Dream" by Shandi and "Manhunt" by Karen Kamon" which are SOOOO 80's you just have to love them. Then there are two tracks by major artists (Donna Summer and Laura Branigan) that don't appear on any other album by them (as far as I know). Both pretty good, unusual productions. The rest of the album is made up of drippy ballads and the WORST power-pop track you will ever hear - "Seduce Me Tonight" by Cycle V (who???). And I'm sorry, but even the celebrated ... Read More:

If you're reading this review and thinking about buying this album stop reading this review and get your charge card out. This is, bar none, the best compilation album I've ever come across. I'm shamed to admit I was unfamiliar with many of the tracks and artists until I saw the film. In hindsight I now understand the magnitude of the gaping whole this was in the development of my muscial appreciation. A vista of 70's soul-funk really opened up for me post-Jackie-Brown.
