I have just acquired this 4-disc boxed collection of selected tracks from James Last's extensive repertoire spanning four decades of his unique musical talent and, indeed, one of the discs is running on my media player as I type this review.
As a long-standing 'afficionado' of the maestro and his orchestra, I could be accused of being biased, but as the chairman and secretary of the JL Appreciation Society said in one of the club's magazines, this set is a worthwhile addition to anyone's collection and I have to say,I wholeheartedly agree.
