Installed the repeller last week with high hopes of stopping our garden from being the toilet for our neighbours cats. As of yesterday there appeared to be fewer tell tale "signs"! of cats having visited so I was feeling very happy with my purchase. Unfortunately this morning I spotted a cat basking in the sun in the middle of the lawn well within the range of the repeller which makes me think that the abscence of "signs" (!) may sadly be short lived.

Previous reviews sum things up pretty well. Simple to use. The fact that the weight is displayed after putting the item down is a great improvement over using conventional spring balance and attempting to read it 'loaded'.
When I first used it I had the peculiar experience of the scale displaying exactly the same weight for a bag twice, but when I removed items the weight actually increased!!
I've used it again since, over a number of days, and now the weight remains consistent. I can only put it down to the scale 'setting down'.

Looked around for a while to replace an ageing Flymo which was no longer up to the job. Came accross this one and looked good so took the plunge.
Really does work well. Cuts in the wet, cuts long grass and puts a nice stripe down.
Only two minor issues:
1. could really do with a cable tie / storage built in as becomes a pain having to wind it manually around the handle.
2. Installation sheet not much use. On putting handle into base and trying to fix screw it would befinitely be easier if screw hole line up with handle all the way in - you have to wiggle it up a bit to line up and also if screw hole was pre threaded or at least easier to get screw in.
This is one of the best buys i've made this summer, very comfy, and doesn't make a noise like others do.
The only thing that you got to think about is inflating as it takes about ten minutes and that was with an air compressor but it was easy to get the air out and packs away neatly back in the box so in all i've given it four stars.

amazon supplied the rotak with free delivery and a large saving.Delivery was quick with no problems The box looked big and the parts looked complicated but I had a friend who put it together for me The general comment that it was not paticularly easy, paticulary the grass box.I have used it today and found it brilliant paticularly after my qualcast cylinder model which was awful. The edging system is great and it leaves good lines. The grass box is adequate and easy to empty, although the cable is slightly short for my usage. The bigger Rotak 40 has a longer cable and might be worth considering if one does not want to bother with extension cables, but at 30 pounds extra is probably not worth the extra. The cable tidy for the handles are worth the extra three pounds ... If you prefer cleaning the patio one inch at a time and getting drenched in the process this is not for you. The design and functionality of this gadget is superb. I cleaned the patio and 100 feet of pathways in 2 hours - It used to take a full day. It's as easy to use as a hover mower.

I bought mine a few days ago. I had been looking for some time to get one so that I can shred all my garden waste, especially branches. So far so good. Easy to assemble and to use. It can get jammed a little sometimes, but if you stick to putting no less than 4cm wide bits, you should be fine. It's not as loud as I expected it to be, but still be considerate with your neighbours when using it. And try and be green! turn it off while you're not shredding. Be careful not to put any cardboard as I tried to shred some and it got stuck inside, I had to open the whole thing up to take it out.

I got this as a power charger solution mainly for my Creative Zen Vision M 30gb. Like a lot of things, finding accessories for the creatives is difficult since the market is swamped with ipods and everything seems to be geared towards these.
The powermonkey comes with an adapter for the zen, but it doesnt work due to not enough pins being present so this leads me to believe that adapter is to charge an ipod.
The accessories do include one which fits the sync adapter of the creative zen vision M (the white thing you use to charge it from mains) so it does work - so for those with the same mp3 player as me - this will work for it, you just need to carry the adapter around as the flat adapter doesnt have enough pins.
Does exactly what you want it to. Of course this is NOT a voltage converter, it merely changes the physical plug from US to UK. As such, the voltage on your American item needs to support the UK 240v. Please ignore the bad reviews of this product, they are from people too stupid to realize this and who plugged an American 115v product into a UK 240v socket, thus blowing fuses. This converter has no 'voltage' of its own.
If your product doesn't support 240v then you need a voltage converter, not just a socket converter.
My Zune charger supports 100v-240v, so this works just fine.
