This could be a really good product - but the lack of care when packing is letting it down..... my weather station lacked a North South East or West and the weather vane at the top was missing.... I await a replacement.. to see if it's better

We put this item on our wedding list and it was puchased by a wedding guest on 5th June - it is now 6 August and still no sight of the product!!! We were hoping to have this for the summer but I guess we won't be able to use it this year. I wouldn't want anyone else to have to wait 2 months for a product and so I can't recommend it - go to Homebase instead!

We put this item on our wedding list and it was puchased by a wedding guest on 5th June - it is now 6 August and still no sight of the product!!! Good, cheap solution for bringing on seedlings and protecting tender cuttings from the winter weather.
My tests (using one max/min thermometer inside the mini-greenhouse and one outside) show the product gives an average of about 2°C extra temperature during the day and 1.5°C during the night. The Gardman 4 Tier Mini Greenhouse Fleece Cover only adds a further 0.5°C but an extra Gardman 3 Tier Mini Greenhouse Cover over that (double-glazing with a fleece interlining) gives a total of around 4°C of frost protection even with snow settling on the top. To get even more protection you can put a hot water bottle on the bottom shelf but you'll have to change this a few times per night so frost-tender specimens will have to be taken indoors ... I bought one of these last year, just to try it out for my caravan - and its one of the best things I ever bought!! I let it charge all day in my window, and at night time I can leave it on for the children at the top of my caravan. The light has faded a fair bit by morning time, but its on all night so that the kids can see their way during the night. Great bright light off them, good enough that I can read by it. I didn't screw it to the wall, so once its charged it can be carried about wherever it is needed. Its so simple to operate, just unpack, screw in the stand and off you go. I recommended it to a couple of friends and they bought some too - I was wasting a fortune in batteries every night for the children, less than two weeks after buying ... Read More:
