I bought this for my son when he moved into a flat with no cooking facilities, after reading other reviews. He reports that he is very impressed with its performance. It heats quickly and is easy to keep clean.

Recieved these lights just 4 days after ordering them. They're a smashing set, especially for the money! They look pretty good too! I got 10 instead of 8 and they all work, no tinkering or messing. The steel tubes are sharp on the edges so be careful when pushing them together. Altogether a nice set at a very good price. I'd recommend them.

The infra sensor doesn't sense and the light is very weak. General construction is clumsy and bulky for what it is.

I've used one of these all summer for camping trips. Previously I used a standard torch with rechargeable AA batteries but these can have a habit of dying just when they're needed and it's expensive to keep buying fresh sets.
This torch is just the job. It provides sufficient illumination for in a tent, walking around a camp site in pitch black and has been very useful at home during power cuts. It's lightweight, reliable and dependable and I know it's there when it's needed so I won't be reverting back to conventional battery-powered torches. I was disappointed with these lights. They stopped working after only having them a few days, after heavy rain. I posted the item back (at my expense) for a replacement...and the same thing happened again after another bout of rain. They really shouldn't konk out just because of wet weather!
I havent bothered to send these back - as I got rid of the packaging thinking it would not happen twice - but it did. It's a shame as they are pretty lights. >>More Details |

I bought a white set for camping and safety after putting on my beer goggles. The printed circuit board packed up this week. Yes, disappointed after I gave the white a good review. Before they packed up I bought a blue set and they are still going fine. So at the moment the review is mixed. (in the balance)
