I brought the sun jar because when i work nights my girlfriend likes a light on so i thought we could try this to save on electricity and still give her the comfort from the light! When it arrived we was very happy with the quality of the light, its a nice jar and would look good on any window ledge! Like the other reviewers have said its waterproof with a good seal so can be left outside if you wish.
It automatically comes on when it gets dark unless you switch it off (switch is under the lid) and it gives out a nice glow which is romantic and like a candle light but its not enough light for you to be able to read! The cheapest i found this was £15 on play.com free delivery >>More Details |

The infra sensor doesn't sense and the light is very weak. General construction is clumsy and bulky for what it is.

I got a set of these for Christmas, and put the solar panel on a flat roof in the garden. They worked sporadically at first (if I jiggled them a bit) but gave up completely after a week or so.

Recieved these lights just 4 days after ordering them. They're a smashing set, especially for the money! They look pretty good too! I got 10 instead of 8 and they all work, no tinkering or messing. The steel tubes are sharp on the edges so be careful when pushing them together. Altogether a nice set at a very good price. I'd recommend them.
