It doesn't look as naff as it does on these above pictures. But it is straight out of the 60's. It is pretty robust but requires a comical amount of batteries for the limited power it produces. Small spiders just don't weigh enough to be catchable. Biggies fall right into its jaws. It seems to be the most humane spider catcher on amazon as well. The reach perhaps is not enough for the real wusses. Anyway, surely its cheaper and easier just to use your hand or kill the bliter?!

This was a random stocking filler I bought for my son. I was half expecting to recieve a rucksack from what the Amazon description says. I was pleasantly surprised to recieve a largish size train (the box is 32cm x 9cm). It was green rather than blue on the photo so obviously colours may vary.
Removing the train from the box was a little difficult. You need a screwdriver as it is securely attached to the packaging in 2 places.
The box says and I quote "batteries included but not replaceable" as well as "the demonstration batteries in this toy may have a short life due to consumer testing while on display". Hmm. This isn't one of those toys with a pull out plastic bit to start the train batteries working.

This is a great game, good for kids and adults alike. You stand on the board instead of using a counter and the die is massive. You can even play it indoors if you have the room.

Bought this as a Christmas present as it had a pillow and lights all in one. On first use, one of the suckers broke off the pillow which meant that there was an unrepairable hole and therefore useless. The wiring inside one of the lights broke when I was trying to put the batteries in and with the others, the on/off switch didn't work.
Good idea, just poorly and cheaply made. I would suggest spending a little more money on something better quality.

I was somewhat apprehensive about ordering this product after reading negative reviews of similar products. First impressions upon opening the box were that the lights were of poor quality, and unlikely to be waterproof. Sure enough, after only a couple of minutes submerged in the bath, the lights were filled with water, and still lit up even when switched off! On the plus side, the lights do look really nice, but as they are unable to be used for the purpose they are designed for, a complete waste of money. Buy at your peril!!
