I've been having this shredder for nearly 3 years. It's extremely silent, powerful, effective and in short it does everything which has been meant on doing causing no problems at all. It rarely clogged and only when the hedges inserted where a bit wet and too much for the opening. It shreds to small pieces at the size of a sugar lump I would say. One piece of advise: first shed the fresh, green parts and keep the harder trims last or for in-between. You may occasionally need to use the harder trims to clean the teeth of the blade by shredding them through, when green or wet trims have accumulated on the teeth. If you can afford it, go for the next more powerful model with a larger opening.

I couldn't believe what a nice cut this lawnmower delivers. But be prepared for the huuuuge amount of grass clippings you will have to cope with. This is the price to pay for an excellent cut, but it came as a shock to me the first time I used it!

If you've purchased the Bosch AXT Rapid 2200, it's a nice add-on to collect all the shredded materials to put on your compost heap. use the handles to attach to the side of the shredder and shred away as you like!
I suppose you could also do with an ikea bag.

I've been having this Hedgecutter for 3 years. No problems whatsoever and very powerful in what it does. Don't forget to grease the teeth of the blade after each time you use it. It will prolong the life of it.

I have a lot of box topiary in the garden, and this tool is much easier for me than hand shears. My husband finds shears easier, but I find them hard work on my elbows. I have been able to trim all the topiary inside a week, which in the past would have taken about a month, because I would have put off doing it due to blisters and aches. However this shrub shear is good where the foliage is dense, and not so good if it is loose and floppy, you just have to get a knack of working fairly slowly so you cut the loose stems rather than pressing them down and leaving them.
This shrub shear has made box trimming an enjoyable occupation again.

Fantastic product! We have a very small lawn and everyone said I ought to buy a flymo microlight, so I did. Mowing the lawn was such a chore! Getting the lumps of wet grass off the lawn and ages sweeping up the grass it sprayed out in all directions, over the patio and anything else that got in the way.
I asked on a forum for recommendations for something different and a hand pushed cylinder was the top pick.
I'm so glad I bought it-mowing the lawn now takes about 10 mins and I can even be bothered to clean the mower afterwards.
It went together really easily with no nuts or bolts missing. The grass box is really easy to get on and off and stays on well even on my lumpy bumpy lawn. It cuts beautifully-the noise makes you feel like ... Read More:

I've found these trimmers very easy to use. They're light to handle and come with a good length of cable. The blades are sharp and cut through quite thick stems.
I paid about £100 for the Bosch 1200 plus. It came with 3 lances that plug into the trigger gun. This machine is quiet and the motor only runs while the trigger is operated. There is almost no vibration. This is a huge advance on my 15 year old and 5 year old Karchers that were about £200 and £350 at the time. It seems just powerful enough and well made. There is no provision to store the high pressure hose when you have finished work. This is a drawback. The instruction manual makes it clear this machine is for domestic use only. They don't define the term. I assume, it is not robust enough for every day use. It would be interesting to know how many hours it is expected to last.
I bought this after my flymo finally bit the dust (thank goodness, because it was awful!). It is incredibly light, and as other reviewers have said, it is easy to carry one-handed through the garage to the garden, leaving the other hand free to open doors etc. The collection box is quite small, and on my lawn I have to empty it at least 5 times, but that is a minor point overall. This also gives you an excuse to pause for a sip of cold beer on a hot day! Cable is not very long, but that is easily solved with a decent extension lead. This mower has no rollers for those that want stripes, but seeing as my lawn is also used as a football pitch, cricket field and badminton court this is not an issue.
very good value, easy to use and has a simple notch adjustment ... Read More:
