This works quite well. I was getting fed up with a cat fouling my front garden. The cat repeller works quite well and it has effectively stopped the cat from coming into the front garden. I have been using this for around a month now and did not have to change the batteries until now. Very effective.

I ignored all the reviews that said this device was rubbish listening only to Mr Blobby. This has wasted me £15 and has led to a greater mouse problem with one even in my bed last night. Aaaaargh absolute nightmare and i am trying hard to respect life and resolve the problem in a humane manner, this is definitely not the way to do it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I had a problem with squirrels in my roofspace - they were living under a converted loft floor. Having read the reviews I bought one of these traps and set it outdoors using a Snickers bar as the bait. Half an hour later I caught my first squirrel. They obviously like Snickers as it had eaten the lot. There's no point buying a more expensive version of this product - it works really well.
It's well designed too, with a protective plate to stop the squirrel from nipping your fingers when you pick up the cage to transport it. I was able to release the squirrels unharmed in a nearby wood. >>More Details |

Certainly good suction on this so-called 'Dustbuster' but it is sadly compromised by the terrible filter design! I imagine it might be fine for fluff, crumbs and larger particles but I've found finer dust will instantly clog the filter. I used it in an attempt to quickly clear some plaster and brick dust after drilling a few holes, which was enough to instantly block the filter causing it to quickly overheat and cut out. Trying to properly clean the small internal finned filter is laborious, impractical and of dubious effectiveness. So I hardly see where 'dust' comes into the name! As a result, I only use it now to aid cleaning my pc, which is about it's limit - in my opinion.

I purchased one of these, not from Amazon, in November. It seemed to work fine for about 10 minutes, then the collecting bag kept flying off, showering me and the nearby lawn with chopped leaves. It may be that this is more likely to happen if the leaves are wet. On the plus side, if you use it as a blower instead of a garden-vac, it is very satisfactory and produces a far more powerful flow of air than anything else I have used. I shall probably use mine only as a blower.

Excellent product! was sceptical about the whole idea of glue on cardboard, but bought them anyway. opened and set 1 Put some chocolate and peanuts in the centre. 3 hours later i'm at my friends and my wife's on the phone having a fit! Quick come home! there is mouse on the trap and I don't know what to do! What a result, they do work and can not fault it. I got a plastic tub with holes in the lid and cut around the area the mouse was with a Stanley knife. Then placed the mouse still attached to the glue in the tub and poured some oil onto it. Took about 8 seconds and it was free, then I drove to my mates and let it go. The mouse was a fully grown one.

This is great at picking up the crumbs which end up on the floor around a baby's high chair. Have also found it excellent for the stairs because using a proper vacuum cleaner with stairgates top and bottom is proving to be a real challenge. As another reviewer said, it doesn't replace a proper vacuum cleaner, but is great for short, sweet clean ups.

A pretty awful product. Firstly it is very heavy and uncomfortable to use. Clearing out debris from the thing is a difficult process and therefore time consuming. I purchased this product six months ago and have used it three times. However on the fourth occasion it would not start. Ryobi has since collected it and after three weeks I needed to chase them and have been told that they wiil send a replacement. Currently out of stock!

One of the things I like about this model is the way the nozzle pivots to allow you to reach awkward areas and for more compact storage. I've found that if you leave it running for a second or two after use there aren't any problems with dirt falling out of the nozzle when you fold it down.
The nozzle has a pull-out extension to it which makes it even easier to get to hard-to-reach areas. And there is a little clip-on soft brush attachment as well. The suction is good for a little vacuum cleaner like this one - obviously nowhere near as good as a full size cleaner, but then it is only meant to be used for quickly hoovering up spills, bread crumbs and for cleaning the car etc. Battery life is very good too.
